- This vid is the combination of the movie Drive and Passenger by Deftones. Passenger always gave me chills. Not to mention two of my all time favorite vocalists: Chino Moreno and Maynard of Tool / A Perfect Circle / Puscifer fame.
The beginning sequence of Drive reminded me of this song so much.
I am dedicating this fan video to the memory of Chi Cheng who recently passed. His bass line in the verses is haunting and soothing at the same time. That, my friends, is pure talent.
THIS SONG brings me memories of my long distance trips with my late wife, when we traveled for days and days,so close together that i had to change the bucket seats of my ´68 dodge dart for a bench, so we could be in touch all the time... whenever i go out in that same car,i still feel her presence inside the car, as if she drops by to make me feel better, so i never forget her... it´s so strange, that sometimes i even smell her perfume and feel her warmth on my shoulder, and hear her voice saying "don´t be so shy, floor it, daaaaamn it..."... miss her so much, but ,at least ,her memories will never fade in my mind,SHE IS STILL MY PASSENGER...thanks for posting this masterpiece, man...

This song .... oh my God. It's exactly what I needed tonight. Deftones+Maynard still gives me goosebumps.
Nice. I have never actually listened to anything else from the Deftones, as I'm a pretty serious TOOL fan, but this is a solid song.
I've seen MJK perform with TOOL numerous times, once with A Perfect Circle. What an incredible vocalist and performer. My only hope is that people are able to penetrate TOOL beyond the "loud/aggressive" labeling and see them for how incredible they are at putting out incredibly moving music.

@@Master_Harrison86 I saw them once at the KROQ Weenie Roast of 2003 and I was not impressed at all how they sounded live. They sounded awful. Chevelle was on the sidestage, who was one of my favs at the time they had horrible stage presence and showmanship
Got to see them perform it live together as the music festival in Roskilde. Chino was wrecked as shit through out that show but shaped it up when Maynard stepped out for Passenger. Tool was bloody brilliant later on that night which blew my girlfriends friends minds as they'd never heard them befor that, Maynard stripped down on stage through out the set, so I guess he was enjoying himself. It was a great show.
