DYNAM WACO YMF-5D RED V2 1270MM W/O TX/RX/BATT
The Dynam Waco Bi-Plane offers an appealing combination of performance, style and affordability. Designed using the latest technology in durable EPO foam providing lightweight and structural rigidity. The result is an aircraft that offers awesome levels of performance. This bi-plane spans its wings at 50 inches and sits at an overall length of almost 39 inches. The large prop is thrown by a BM3720A-KV800 brushless motor supported by a Dynam 50A-5A electronic speed controller. Control surfaces are handled by four 9 gram Detrum servos and includes a steerable tail wheel for easy taxing around the runway. Requires a 14.8V 2200mah Li-Po Battery, 4 channel radio and receiver. When more power is needed during sports aerobatic flying the Detrum power system delivers it effortlessly and smoothly. An easy access hatch allows for quick battery changes without having to remove the wings. The power plant and scale like features allow this plane to fly gracefully with outstanding flight characteristics.
The version2 of the Dynam Waco Bi-Plane has the following upgrades:
Upgrade brushless motor from BM3720A-KV650 to BM3720A-KV800
Upgrade ESC from 40A to 50A-5A BEC

Thanks so much for your advice on this plane. I have spent last few months learning to fly with a dynam Piper cub, and a few weeks ago built dynam Waco red as my second plane. Maiden flight on Christmas morning and nosed over on landing. Second flight today, was perfect. Plane can fly really slow without stalling and managed a scale smooth landing. I have had up to 30 planes at one time, and this plane has always been my favorite! I have had it now for 4 years...still my favorite. For even better scale, swap out the prop for a wooden one...it even has a different sound!

Hi Robert I've just had a silly idea ! How about a ground race between you and Blaz with two planes on ski's in the winter, you with the glorious waco and Blaz with his yellow tiger moth, that would be awesome to watch.. Be careful though, go too fast and you'll take off !!!!!!! All the best

The Waco looked really at home over the famous quarry,nicely flown and landed with a burst of power on that bounce ! I love my yellow Waco as well it really handles well with those double ailerons.

This time it was really great. We just love to film here and this Waco is perfect. Perfect. I did screw a little here but usually I dont. Even when Iam alone. I was pretty wild before we started to film planes, always risking and flying on the edge but not anymore. This was just a little extra to show to the viewers that I really trust this bird. I have the yellow Waco, still not flown it yet as I lost one of the control horns during assembly and haven’t gotten around to fitting another. Maybe today I do will that. Also need to buy a 4S 4000mAh pack. Nice flying Robert, very smooth.

Captain Blaz is really the superior cinematographer. Very good filming on this video. I see your trees are beginning to change. Here, in West Virginia, we have had a very warm fall. Normally our trees change the 3rd week of October but it appears that they will wait till November for this year. All the best and Thank You for the great video.

Great video gents! Get both the Waco and the Tiger Moth in the quarry together! I love flying in exciting places, I flew my PZ FW190 in a quarry and I fly off the cliffs above the sea - its great fun diving down to the water and chasing your shadow over the waves! Keep up the great work :)

You guys outdid yourselves on this one. I love my Waco and Stearman because like you say, they just fly like a trainer. RocHobby has discontinued their line of yellow Wacos from Motion so just push that button and buy the Dynam while there still available.

Do you have a favorite between the Waco and the Pitts Python? I don't see much of a difference but I like my Pitts. I learned how to fly inverted with my Pitts. Like the Waco, I always enjoy flying the biplane!
Another great video for pilot Robert and Captain Blaz! Have you guys ever thought about trying the Dynam DC-3/C-47/Skybus? I have heard good things about the plane which is weird for dynam product.

That was before we started to film the birds and Iam really sorry now for that. And that one from Dynam might work good becouse it doesnt have retractable landing gear and no steering wheel.
The one sold on motion rc like i have has a steerable tail wheel. It is my undetstanding that motion is the only place to buy it with a steering wheel. If I lived near you guys I would let you take my for a flight.

The Devil 3d is also a good one ,i might have to pick up a red waco as a comparison with the yellow moth.The waco is more aerobatic and can be thrown about more, as usual great flying and filming
