Dear friends from all over, today's song, as almost every song we're going to release on this program, has a long history. But why is it so? We think that depends on how you start a production. There are 2 fundamental ways of commencing:
1.) You have a plan and strictly follow this plan. Whatever idea comes along during production, what matters is, does it fit in the plan or not. If not, forget it. This strategy always works well in terms of production length and money investment.
2.) You have a plan but you don't follow this plan because of the many nice and pretty ideas that fly around. This, you perhaps already understood, is in most cases our strategy, if you may call it a strategy at all.
If you now listen to this music and compare it to the finally released version it may sound to you like a different song from a different universe. But there is one special thing about it. Obviously, it is still Alphaville. And is it our fault that we reside in so many different scapes of existence? Some may say yes, but actually, we enjoy this condition quite a lot and can't perceive it as a problem. In fact, this condition provides us with so many lovely tunes ready for this project.
Some say Alphaville's problem as a band was curiosity. And curiosity tends to kill the cat, so they say. But others say that a cat has nine lifes. Well, some say so and some say so. Just lets be optimistic and hope for the best. In any case. May you all stay save and healthy.

This song is a mystery to me. The demo had it all, the emotional, the groove, the perfect ballad. Then AV chose an electrified version that starts with an improbable falsetto and an official video that is unwatchable, am not epileptic but hundreds of flashs let your eyes sore. So when the album was released I hated this track right away and skipped it. Then I found out the demo and loved it (the demo, not the album version, please follow). At least lyrics are clearly understandable, audible.
The present video renders the true spirit of the intended song, thanks to Tobias’ unique touch. Thank you!

Deep bass guitar notes at the opening, full chorus vocals on refrain, stunning riff at 3:16 (totally in love with it!!) together with the #MarianGold eternal voice are making this demo an amazing alternative mood version of the album song.

Dear Marjan, I became the revolutionary artist of the 21st century. I make essential electro-pop inspired by Italo disco (head-mode inspirator), Symphonic rock, 80's and John Williams. I have also learned a lot by experiences from lyricses. Also from yours. That doesn't mean that you can not learn from me. Just some points i know that i said many times - In the feelibg way, freedom and innosence are interdepended, emancipation has to come from both sides, coming first knows no female or male, but the related individual who has to be emancipated, the intension can be read from the approach/emission - And if i have to talk about plant and reap, i had to wait 30 years for a lovestatement, and finally i have one and the best one, Emma. But then divisions policy pressure on my relationship, where were those opportunities for - me and my girl Emma while where i have now six years a relationship established clear of we're still movin' on - where were that many chances? Didn't i need to enforce the right moments for space time after time? And didn't i make it for both sides always finally come true? And who said that a challange can be claimed to me after i finished my answer, having a limitation Autistic (Asperger) and almost at the age of 50? And who said that as long as if you don't get your grace self-evident for stressed out clean stages, especially for example me as a very sensitive male primadonna, that i have to say sorry without any opportunity of answer to my girl Emma to say sorry to me too? And why do i have in this concept of stages to look back where i came from? And despite all my pain, i am still motivated to help my girl Emma with her feminism together with mine , REAL love only knows BOTH sides. In that case, and not without my meaning to share, i can say - See you tomorrow - The rest of the responsibility is of all the others. Sincerely greeting.
Much better than the track on Strange Attractor. Shame about that album. Alphaville had such a great track record - all of their albums were perfect. I keep trying to listen to SA and like it, but I can't figure out what the hell Marian Gold was thinking when he wrote that album. Just terrible.
Ich komme mit dem Song nicht klar. Nicht mein Ding. Ich finde die Album -Version besser. Die hat mehr Pfeffer.
Mir gefällt die Album-Version schon nicht.Sie hat aber mehr Substanz als diese Version.
