I did multiples of 14 + 4 and after doing my last 3 SC in left with 4 chains I've counted all my stitches. I've seen others do multiple of 14 + 2 just wanted to make sure I'm doing this correctly.
Oh finally the “half double crochet” name makes sense. Two half stitches in a row then joined at the top to make a full crochet. That name keeps confusing me because it’s got “double crochet” in the name of two very different basic stitches. I’m going to call 2 bottom-half full crochet or an upside down Y Stitch or something. I just can’t keep those names straight and keep forgetting which stitch I’m meant to do and how to do it especially because the names are duplicated but for mismatched stitches in British versus US instructions. Crochet has terrible stitch names.
This is such a pretty stitch! I can’t wait to try it out!🤩
So beautiful!! One of my favourites 😍
