Izzy … love your stories… it’s good to see you having so much fun in Oz on your life adventures so embrace it all. As for where to go and what to share … just be yourself and see what YOU want to. Trust me … you will spend a lifetime exploring this country and there will be countless sights, sounds and unforgettable moments. Our fauna is incredible but I suggest you get a reference to identify those creatures that “could” be a little dangerous. Some things may look cute or cuddly but it could surprise you. So being aware is a good idea. However take the opportunity to engage our fauna when safe to do so as it is an incredible experience. Take care and enjoy. 😎

Wasn't the upstanding English people.
What is so hard to move from England to Australia? Same language, attitude and all the rest of it. After all it is your colony!Noosa is not Australia but a rather snobbish precinct on the east coast. I used to be an avid surfer in devils kitchen 50 years ago but that was before the rich wobs moved in and gradually destroyed the spirit of the area. Some locals call it progress. Before you get carried away do yourself a favour and travel to the poorer quarters of this great country,it will be a real eye opener even for the well heeled visitors. However enjoy your time in Oz because it is a great country.
Take some time to learn about Indigenous history and colonisation.
The only problem with Australia is that Australians live there
You should be proud of yourself for moving to Australia!! It's such a big and scary leap to take, but it is so so rewarding. Wishing you the best of luck with your journey in Oz 🥹

“Sausage dog”??? Sorry but that breed is called “der Dachshund”. They were bred to hunt badgers, hence the “Dachs” prefix in the name. Grüße aus Australien. Tschüss.
Haha a lot of people don't understand when I do call him a miniature dachshund/dach!
