@@horselookinghumanheadass I searched whole internet for the instrumentals, so I came on this video, gotta say except for few, he had pretty weak and foreign response to it
A lot of what he’s saying can’t really be understood unless you’ve been there in life or are in that place currently. You’d be surprised how straight forward most of his lyrics are.
Maybe not completely by a musical and/or critique standpoint, but this is a fucking 10/10 album, at least for me. I mean, there are maybe just a couple low points for me, but nothing bad. This is such a *raaaawww* , heavy album, musically & lyrically. Intelligent as hell, too. Billy Woods and Elucid are *awake* , man.
Have you listened to the hip hop group Dälek? If not, check out their album “from filthy tongue of gods and griots” from 2002 trust me it’s fantastic, maybe you should react to it
It’s a shame you’re so focused on the singing being weird and offkey you can’t see it as totally fitting in with the raw feeling of the album I love all the singing if they had some smooth perfectly pitched singer it wouldn’t fit in at all
I agree that a perfectly pitch singer wouldn’t fit... I would prefer there to be no singing cuz even tho Elucid had emotion behind it, I still wouldn’t replay it due to it sounding mad awkward. I fw the sentiment behind it, but personally I won’t replay that. But like I said it doesn’t take away from the album being great
The rating in the description is based off of multiple listens. Ive prolly heard the album at least 3-4 times today.... now for the video itself that’s all first listen.
This is such a challenging and dope album
the david lynch sample on falling out the sky ❤️
I thought it was My Tune by the Cool Notes
@@SebsBeenHere good song but i think we talking abt diff things

your reaction to the intro song and falling out the sky was the exact same as mine
Had to cop this on CD and vinyl! Absolute Gem.
Lemme get that CD 😭
I’ve been playing this album non stop 🔥
AOTY in my opinion. I’ve been following woods since 2012 and him with Elucid, it just seems like the perfect album
Plus Al on the beats, the flow is too good.
I feel like you could play Joffrey Baratheon in a Game of Thrones reboot
The earl track is my favorite song this year
Hey you made it onto Elucid's IG story 😂
man react to cambatta!
battamedov (song)
kovid 24 (song)
lunar solar duality (album)
and also to his older stuff and the collabo projects
Bra Indian Summer had me scared while listening to it 🔥🔥🔥

Bro check out brass, that billy woods moor mother lp has more groovy accessible tracks but this one is more conceptual and hard IMO
fancy seeing you here sun
Album is 🔥🔥🔥
The album is dope but billy woods is confusing as fuck; still trying to understand what he’s trying to say
A lot of what he’s saying can’t really be understood unless you’ve been there in life or are in that place currently. You’d be surprised how straight forward most of his lyrics are.
The way Elucid raps is crazy
stone fruit is one of my favorite songs of all time 😭😭
