Hello from Houston, Texas. Praise the lord that you've returned to riding your trike. I hope and pray that you will fully recover from your surgery ASAP. I'm also a retired, mature (74 years young), disabled vet, and have had physical difficulties like yours. I purchased my Trike last year, 2021, and you have been instrumental in teaching me how to operate this vehicle. Especially concerning finding neutral to utilize the reverse on the trike. Your advice concerning the proper foot application worked! Before that, I had a terrible time completing that procedure. Thank you for the tip. Since it's been so hot recently, I keep my trike on a trickle charger. Enough said. God bless you and your loved ones.
Herbert thank you for those kind words. I’m glad the tip on finding neutral was helpful. I hit it every time now, with no problems. Remember have fun but ride safe. Most respectfully, Ed
Great ride Ed!! Yes, I keep my bikes on trickle charge also.. Forgot to tell you, I was a 3rd Class Quartermaster in the Navy. Regarding the VA hospital, I had a liver transplant at Vanderbilt in Nashville on February 26, 2020. They asked if I wanted the VA or my Blue Cross to cover it. I chose the Blue Cross. Worked in factories for 40 years and I didn't want the American public to have to pay for it when I had insurance. My best friend died in the Nashville VA hospital. He was a Marine in Vietnam and agent orange killed him. I still have bad memories of him dying. But, glad to see you back on the road. Good luck, Ed!
Mike I was a 3rd Class Radioman. I’m so old when I went through A school we still had to learn Morse code 🤓 I’ve been well pleased with the care I’ve received at the Salem VA. I’ve only been going there for about 9 years. Ain’t to many of us where agent orange hasn’t touched that’s for sure. Take care and ride safe shipmate, Ed
Hey, Ed, just found your channel and hit suscribe because where I come from we're told to do what our elders said. 😁I got diagnosed with stenosis & scoliosis last year, a couple of weeks after losing my beloved wife to cancer. She had asked me to make sure to live a joy-filled life, and I've been praying about it,. Long story short- I'm looking for a trike. I've always been a Triumph fan, but Harley Davidson are the only true motorcycle manufacturer to manufacture trikes. Having established that I need three wheels now because of my back (I only got to ride my 2022 Speedmaster once) I'm busy travelling to different parts of New Zealand to look at the trikes that come up for sale. A way down under, here in the "Deep South," we talk a little different to y'all from the North, but I find your northern accent quite easy to follow. Glad I found your channel. Great to see that you're riding again. I found your and Harvey's video on stock vs 12" bars very helpful and already I know what my first two accessories are going to be; a back rest and 12" bars. I'll be praying for you and your recovery post surgery and great to see you're back riding.
Good morning/afternoon/night threepwood56. First off sorry to hear of your wife's passing. I know this must be hard on you but I just love the fact that she loved you so much as to give you direction to make sure you enjoy life...how wonderful!! I'm glad you can understand my old "Northern" accent...never thought I'd say that :-) I appreciate your prayers for sure and you be sure to have fun, but ride safe. You will greatly appreciate the backrest and 12" bars for sure. Take care, Ed
Hello Tri-Glide, God does hear and answer 🙏 prayers. I have anxiously been waiting for your recovery. Love the initial ride. Blessings and keep posting. Tri-Glide Preacher.
Thanks Bob! But I just had a cataract removed this past Monday and will have the other one done about the end of October...whew, what a time it has been! Take care, Ed
Good to see you back on the road Brother and thanks for the nice shout out as well. Take her easy and ride often when you feel up to it. As always looking forward to future videos as you have some time. Yep if she ain't running have her on a trickle charger and you'll never have a battery related problem. Took my Tri Glide down for service tonight and it's first full detailing ever. Can't wait to see it when shes ready to pick up in a couple days. Talk to you soon over on FB.
HELLO ED! Looks like you and Willie have something in common. ON THE ROAD AGAIN!! Really good to see you up and feeling better. Shortly after I subscribed to your channel you had your back and leg issues and I've really missed the videos. Hope your ride was enjoyable and pain free. Just picked up my new 2022 Tri Glide last Friday September 2nd, and I'm 110 percent happy with it. Should have gotten it years ago. Again it's really good to see you doing better and look forward to seeing many more videos from you. God bless and stay safe.
Way to go and congratulations on the 2022! I'm like you I wish I would have gotten a Tri Glide years ago!!! Remember TG, have fun but ride safe. Keep on keeping on!!! Ed

Greg I want you to know how much your text means to this old man. And the good Lord did guide me through this. He said, "I believe Ed needs a little more patience and to not be so stubborn with this issue..." and I did what the doctors and especially the wife told me. Take care and tell everyone in KY that Ed says Hey.
Glad to see you're doing well Ed. Sure have missed seeing any new videos, probably have watched all your previous ones more than once now. Have now had my TriGlide now about 4 months and have really enjoyed it. Like I said before, you really help me decied to switch from 2 to 3 wheels. Looking forward on seeing some of your new production. God bless.
Glad to hear from you again. You have a good voice and seem in good shape. Well done and welcome back. I must admit that I changed my tri-glide for a Spyder during your convalescence. I found the level of comfort for the passenger and me to be significantly higher. One thing though, I will miss the purr of the H-D engine. 😊👍
Thank you Gaetan and I'm glad to be back. Hey I don't care what you ride. The main thing is, you're riding. I watch a channel called Coach Bob 3 or CB3. He rides a Can Am RT(I think). I really enjoy his channel. You take care, respectfully, Ed
Welcome back Ed. I had the same surgery not as good of outcome for me. I got a spine infection after surgery and I'm in just as much if not more pain now than before. That was 2019 now on disability. I just converted my Road king with a trike kit. I have nuropathy in feet and hands so I thought that would allow me to still ride. I'm glad your surgery was successful just take it easy. Glad to see you back doing videos. God bless

Glad to see you out riding again ! I, like you need to be able to get outdoors and work! Summer time is mowing, brush hogging, splitting stacking firewood then winter rains start. This summer I too been laid up with a foot problem which wont allow me to get my boots on. Been doing a few things but not going to split firewood wearing flip flops! Surgery scheduled for early October. As you said part of getting old!

@@TriGlideEd Thank you Ed very kind of you to say this. I know how it is to be laid up for a long time. In the beginning everyone is by your side then they have to get back to their lives and it can be lonely and the days become dark. When I found your channel I connected with your videos and how you presented things in a very positive way. I was hoping to meet up with you when I was up your way and then you notified us about your back issues and I assumed it would take you a while to get back to doing normal things again. Five years ago I had to deal with some health issues and it was 19 months before I could get out and ride again. There were days I felt like I would never get back to living let alone riding; can be very lonely spending so many hours alone with your thoughts. I wanted to make sure you knew you were not forgotten and I did miss you posting new videos. Continue to work hard to get yourself back to great shape so you can put all this behind you. God Bless you and your family and prayers for your continued healing and recovery. Lee
Nice to see you back on the road Ed ! Hope you are getting back into things and healing nicely. I've been there and know how you feel. Things will feel different in ways you won't be able to anticipate but you'll adapt. Blessings to you!
Hello from middle Tennessee. Just heard you haven't been riding. Glad you are better. Have you ever thought of using a 360 camera on a ride? I'd be I terested to hear your thoughts and tips on mounting and using. Chuck
Good morning Chuck. I've never thought about a 360 degree camera. It would be interesting for sure. But as an old man on a fixed budget it may be awhile before I could get one. Take care Chuck. Respectfully, Ed
I just lost you with my story. I am still 75. Never drove a bike. Only really rode on the back twice. Any way are you older or younger then me ? They all look great. Went into a H.D. dealership just to see (?). There was only one there trike on there flood . It was Army Green and a couple of patches on it. Not being a Vet, because of having burnt legs since age ,5. I missed out on serving. I want to get a trike. My wife of 53 years, just blew up what I did that day. What I want is when I can , what questions do I ask the seller, Thanks when you ever get time please send me an answer ok. Thanks again Rardie Leahy Foxborough, Ma..
Morning Rardie. Only question I would ask a private seller is if they have the maintenance records of when and where they had their bike serviced. Also look at the oil on the dip stick and see if it's clean or black as tar. Also ask if the bike had ever been involved in an accident. You know just basic questions. Take care and good luck. Respectfully, Ed
Thanks Rudolph, but, since I posted this video I have had 2 cataracts removed. Had the left eye done this past Monday. It has and will limit me to not riding for awhile. Don't want to get any debris in my eyes for sure. Thank you so much for watching. Most respectfully, Ed
Hello Raymun. Yeah went as well as could be expected. I can run a backpack leaf blower all day with no issues but the slight bend when using my weedeater...whew now that gets me pretty quick. Oh well it is what it is. Take care, Ed

Great to see you had this video posted, and happy to know you feel you are ready to test out the back while riding the Tri Glide. Hope you can get back out on a regular basis to get some miles in before the cold weather sets in up your way. Will keep you in our prayers!!
Lee you are one of the main people that kept my hopes and spirit up. Please know how much I appreciate you. Most respectfully, Ed
Thanks Kevin and yeah I sorta imagined that "things" will pop up for sure. You take care, Ed
Thanks for the ride What are uyou using to film. Maybe do a video. Thanks
GoPro Hero 8 Black

😊
😊😊
How much does it cost?
?
@@TriGlideEd what's the price of this specific model?
@@KnowTheNewOfficial $36,000 or there about.
Good riding ED. Hope all went well.
Hello Raymun. Yeah went as well as could be expected. I can run a backpack leaf blower all day with no issues but the slight bend when using my weedeater...whew now that gets me pretty quick. Oh well it is what it is. Take care, Ed
