This sends such a good message!! Pls pin so everyone can see! I have a few friends who aren’t as strong of readers and they get made fun of for reading less advanced books. It really brings them down and makes some of them rlly not enjoy reading even thought reading is so so important. It makes me feel so bad knowing I can’t really do anything to stop it no matter how hard I’ve tried. Remember if you are a little behind on reading levels, don’t give up snd try to read more! It truly helps a lot. And also remember if you are making fun of kids for being behind on reading, pls pls stop. It makes school so much harder for these kids on top of the fact that they may not be able to relate to some of the books other kids are reading. thanks for reading ❤ Ps. Funnily enough, when I was a kid I had a really high reading level but didn’t want to read anything that was age inappropriate so I’d only read works for my grade/age level. When I was about 12, I decided I was mature enough to read teen level works and I basically snapped after a couple of years (so. Much. Romance) and decided that I could distinguish what was and wasn’t appropriate for my baby eyes and just started reading whatever. I was still scared to go to the adult section in the library tho haha. Anyway, now I’m 27 working on my masters and I read a lot of works I loved from my childhood (Roald Dahl and Same Stuff as Stars) and even discovered new stuff (Grace Lin. Just her. All her stuff I love you grace ❤)
Bro- i love Nancy Drew. I used to watch one of the Nancy Drew movies with my dad because we had it saved/downloaded on our tv when i was younger. It always brought back good memories when ever i saw it. Just wanted to yap a little bit haha! Take care and stay safe!!

My mom's in her late 40s, she still loves those books from her childhood. She was the one to tell about Nancy Drew.
