34046 'Braunton' on the White Rose at Miles Platting and Mosssley (4K)

The locomotives of the Southern Railway West Country Class are not exactly among the loudest machines. On 17 April 2024, 34046 ‘Braunton’ was to haul the special train ‘The White Rose’ from Crewe to York. The train was first expected on the 1:47 ramp from Manchester-Victoria to Miles Platting. Here Braunton shows us the 3/4 time. After a water stop at Stalybridge, the train can be seen finishing at Mossley.
