I was born in the 90s, and I sit down and watch this show, and it is awesome. Why did they cancel it for smh William Katt is Legendary watching him in Carrie and House movies 🫡😎 Connie Sellecca was wifey foreal that lady was gorgeous 😍😍😍😍 Robert Culp is an OG him and Bill Cosby in I Spy that was funny
William Katt acted this so well. His excitement at seeing the bad guys while wearing the hat was just perfect. It was like h was really seeing something for the first time and something he really couldn't believe.
Always loved this show. William Katt, Connie Selleca and the late Robert Culp were perfectly suited for their roles, and this episode is a standout in terms of acting. ETA: In the original Superman series--the old one with George Reeves--there was an episode ("Panic in the Sky") where Superman lost his memory. Those were the good old days.
My favorite was the episode where thugs were stealing some talisman which was supposed to protect the wearer from harm, so to test it, they put it on Clark and shoot him in front of Lois... He brushes it off by telling her the amulet must've protected him 😁😁😁😁🤣🤣🤣🤣
I realize I'm just but one lonely nobody in this world😄. But I just wanted to thank you again for uploading these. This series is ony bucket list and it's so much better than I thought. I appreciate this so Much
The characters ( mainly Ralph, Bill and Pam) and the quality of dialogue help this series stand the test of time. This is an early 80s show that looked dated and cheesy to me by the late 80s, so I can't even imagine what kids today would think of it. But if you can get past the old optical special effects and not laugh at the obvious 80s stunt doubles, this show is a diamond in the ruff.
47:37 Patrick Hasburgh went on to produce some awesome shows; what an awesome 'easter egg' to see his name in credits at an earlier point in his career 👍👍👍👍
That lady Connie Sellecca (Pam) is wifey 😍😍😍 Man Ralph Hinkley was a lucky man to have her....The ost for the train part 🚆 builds up the intensity of the scene of terrorist hijacking it 🔥🔥🔥🔥 this show was ahead of it's time in the 80s
Robert Culp co-starred with Bill Cosby in "I Spy" which was about a black and a white federal agents working together with no mention about race. It was ahead of it's time. It was way before the first black and white kiss on Star Trek. The personality for Robert Culp developed in this series was carried over to the movie "Her life as a man."
When Ralph puts the suit in the outdoor trash can, he puts it on top of leaves/sticks. The following morning when the trash collector empties the can into the truck, there's a close up of the trash going into the truck and there are no leaves/sticks in it.
In the long shots, the runaway cars are shown coming down the right side track of two tracks. When Ralph collides with the cars, they are on a single track and when the cars stop and the train goes by the train is on the right side track and the stopped cars are on the left side track.
Ralph loses his memories back to the night he saw the flying saucer, but he never once asks about looks for his son Kevin, who was in his custody at a time.
Irony of this being William absolutely hated wearing that suit. Felt like he was throwing a career away. He's more amiable about the experience these days.
When Ralph crashes through the van's windshield, it is made of thin plastic, not windshield safety glass which is much thicker and does not break cleanly as was depicted.
It depends on if it's a city municipality or private contractor picking up the trash. I know for a fact trash pickups did use mechanical arms for dumpsters in the 80s, think the first scene in Terminator from 1984. For many residential areas today, I still see guys hanging off the back of the truck to pick up trash.
It really ANNOYED me the way Ralph was treating his friend Bill, despite having no money I don't understand why he was so hostile towards Bill. Still a happy ending 😁
To correct previous Factual errors "A trash collector would not walk up to someone's house to retrieve a trash can to empty it. He would only empty it if it is on the curb.". This is not true, in some neighborhoods, trash can be collected in back of house.
Wrong. Trump is totally a horrible human being and this was well known in the NY real estate market for 40 years before he ran. He's awlays been a complete trash human.
I love that this show still holds my attention as an adult. The cast chemistry is outstanding.
As a 49 year old, I KNOW the *FEELING* ☯️

That's a cool one to remind me of to see if I can start rewatching it. Don't like all this modern tv crap.

Love this show since I was a preteen, then you had to wait a whole week for the next show, this is much better we have come a long ways
There's something to be said for that too. Anticipation makes you appreciate it more, and binging is not exactly healthy.
The train number 102 in the beginning of the show is the same number as in the train in Casey Jones by the Grateful Dead
Background music is so essential, yet one doesn’t comprehend it’s importance!

Something about him reminds me of Ryan Reynolds. Im so glad someone posted on UA-cam. A good super hero movie to watch is Super Fuzz.
He’s really funny
My favorite episode of the season.
Best thing to come from this show was the theme tune.
That look at 27:13 means everything. I mean, everyone would have a woman like her looking through your eyes like that!
Pam is a total hottie.
Bigger budget = bigger cast, crazier stories (expensive sets, expensive effects)
Its grest that Ralph's character has gotten over the loss of his son so quickly and all....
?
33:05 Classic Bill sarcasm 😅

This is the show that taught me what "scenario" means!

38:15 they broke character. It was so funny.
Hard to reboot this show.
When Ralph crashes through the van's windshield, it is made of thin plastic, not windshield safety glass which is much thicker and does not break cleanly as was depicted.
TV's favorite necrological disorder is being the focus of the episode.
At least there was an uncommon spin on it. I don't recall hearing the term circumscribed amnesia before, if that was what he said.
Great ending those looked like out takes.
I have the complete 3 seasons on DVD.
3:45 🥰🥰🥰🥰
5:43 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is this the same set from where the paramilitary trained in the previous episode?
They just let the guy with the engineer get away?
13:21 4th wall break by Connie...
28:23 Wow, so people still hand-collected the trash as late as the 80s? I guess the trucks with the mechanical arms are newer than I thought. . .
My neighborhood men still pick up the trash by hand, from hanging off the back of a truck.
Mine too.

Here in North Dakota it’s done by hand by two guys, one operates the truck.
A trash collector would not walk up to someone's house to retrieve a trash can to empty it. He would only empty it if it is on the curb.
I can't believe they didn't have the suit cleaned after they took it from the dump. Well, it's just make believe.
“Um, can we at least wash the suit first?”
“There’s no time, Ralph! Put it on!”

When Bill is about to shoot Ralph he is not wearing sunglasses. After the camera angle changes, Bill is wearing his sunglasses.
Why did the tracks end at a brick wall? LOL
That must've been the outer wall of the depot where the trains end their routes... 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
What happened to Ralph's son?
Why is it always Bakersfield that's going to cop it?
It must not be a very protective suit if he gets knocked out so easily so much.
It probably would be better if he had and read the instruction manual.
I think it's because Ralph lost the instruction manual so he didn't know how to avoid things like that.
Well, he did hit a train with his head.....
Suit doesn't cover his head.
@@fawziekefli2273 But if it didn't protect his head at all his head would be splattered all over the front of the train.
