To answer your question about which was the farmer and which was the hunter. Cain was the farmer. An Abel was a shepherd. Neither were hunters.

What's funny is that in Smallville, Zod asked which brother Clark was: Cain or Able. Clark never answered. But here, years later, we finally got the answer. He was Cain all along.

To me Tom Ellis looks 6'4 and Tom Welling 6'3. Tom Ellis just looks slightly taller it might be his slim build as well

Yeah, that's what I love about this twist. They baited you in with the super obvious 'Pierce is the Sinnerman' (to the point you second guess yourself), but that wasn't the main twist!
I have been waiting over 2 MONTHS for this moment, and thank god it did not disappoint.
Just to see Eric’s reaction alone to the fact that Tom Welling is playing yet another invincible being, only this time he’s the bad guy. I bet he still roots for him throughout the rest of the season.
After the Cain reveal, this season just continues to get more and more interesting and has some hilarious moments. I'm glad you guys are at this point in the show :D

@@infam0usalal184 She doesn't have an 'understanding' of the Divine or Celestials, she's not even 100% convinced that she was in Hell. Rather, she thinks she was but can't quite reach the point of believing, comprehending or accepting it - not at this point in time anyway.
@@levi0394 It might be the other way around, it's the Goddess "borrowing" the original Charlotte's mannerism in the first place. The Goddess is literally not human and has no human attitude to speak of, not even a physical being with a brain to begin with. When the Goddess inhabits her human host, all the reflexes, human functioning have to come from the original brain, like how to put her hands, the way of the smile, and expressions, etc. Since the Goddess never had them, it stands to reason they came from Charlotte.

I cant remember where I saw it, but around the time this season was airing there was a bts interview/clip of the Toms talking about how they had scene-by-scene battle for who would get the taller, over the shoulder coverage because they were so close in height.
Lucifer is such a great show
PS, just to put it out there, LUCIFER is actually one of the Top 5 Strongest characters in the DC universe, they down powered him a lot, I am assuming In the show we only see his 1% of power,

Lucifer is even top 2 after God; He's out of the multiverse (meaning only one Lucifer on all Earths).
@@berengerlefort8612 I believe he's generally on par with Michael, as they're very much two sides of the same coin - in regards to the basis of their powers; with Michael able to create matter out of nothing and Lucifer able to rearrange existing matter into anything he wants. At some point, though, I think he somehow bests Michael and uses his death to create a new universe or something and absorbs his power/ability at the same time? Namely because the entire time he's been driven by "freeing" himself from his father(God/The Presence) and intends to create new life truly free from any "influence" or "interference".

Mark 17:56. At some point I forgot to mention that the "Monopoly" scene was my favorite part of an episode. Probably the previous one. The talk about Trixie made me think she was why. But not so! Playing that game used to be Thanksgiving tradition because there were so many children that every game piece was used! 😊

None of Cain and Abels was hunter (hunting appears in the Bible only after the Flood), Cain was a crop-farmer.

So, Cain was the farmer. He would offer vegetables as a sacrifice to god, and Abel would offer animals. People would forget that there used to be animal sacrifices in the Bible up until Jesus where his dying on the cross stopped that process. Abel was better liked because he could offer animal sacrifices while Cain could not.

Abel wasn’t a hunter, he was a Shepard, I believe. I might be wrong, but I do kknow that Cain was a farmer, because God condemned Cain to live, marked so the whole world would know what he had done, and that he would never be able to grow anything again. Anything he tried to grow would die.

They probably are having their cake and eating it to with Charlotte. That is purely the TV show writers' creation, so while decent writing prob not up to the same level as the comic writer, Neil Gaiman. Of course Chloe was the TV writers creation as well and that is pretty well written, so I don't want to throw a lot of shade their way.
I had honestly never heard of Cain and Abel until I watched this show.
LOL..even if you are not religious, it shows up in English language literature, films, tv shows, poetry, plays, I had to learn it in Sunday school, long, long ago.

No. There ARE multiple lucifers in the arrowverse multiverse. There’s a different devil and a different version of hell in legends of tomorrow. So every earth likely has their own hell and their own devil. Earth 666 Cain is a doppelgänger of earth 167 Clark kent, just as earth 666 Daniel is a doppelgänger of earth 1 brother blood.
Edit: basically there are multiple Cains, multiple lucifers and also likely multiple “God”s. In this multiverse at least.

You're probably mixing up Cain and Able with Jacob and Esau. Cain was a farmer and Able was a Shepard. Cain brought the latter fruits of his harvest while Able brought the firstborn of his flock as sacrifice. Jacob and Esau on the other hand were brothers where Esau was a hunter and Jacob stayed home, Esau was his father's favorite and the first born. Jacob was his mother's favorite and with her help Jacob stole their father's blessing from Esau. But Esau was also dumb enough to sell his birthright to his brother for a bowl of stew so... it's kinda hard to feel to bad for the guy.

Cain was the farmer and able tended to there flock Able always sacrificed the best sheep to God while Cain offerd God the bad part of the yeild so God made Abel's flock more plentiful while Cain's crops stayed the same so Cain killed Able out of envy

only because FOX cancelled it. The showrunners Joe&Ildy had planned Lucifer for 6 seasons from the beginning
And that they already had written basically the whole next season and even recorded some episodes before it was scrapped/cancelled literally the week of a Lucifer convention where the cast was informed but couldn’t tell anyone.

Much as I love Tom Welling his Character added nothing to the Show. Chloe just becomes annoying when he's around and it only gets worse.Series finale is great tho. But there definitely at least one episode of this season I couldn't watch because it all got a bit too cringe
Fun Fact: Tom(Lucifer) and Aimee(Ella) had a huge falling out and there was no wrap up party when the show ended because of this. Now that I am writing this it doesn't seem like that fun of a fact.
