Well yesterday only I bump into your video through youtube suggested video. Here I am today with this episode and heard the question you asked - "comment what you studied and why you did". I thought I will add my few lines from my own experience. If you have your self discovery at teenage - you can say you have hit the jackpot !!! If not keep looking and one day you will find your reason for existence. Many people completes graduation, got into nice job but still don't know if that is what they really wanted to do. This includes even people from IIT also. For me my self discovery happened at class 9. Before that I found study boring and studied because of parent's pressure. At class 9 I fell in love with science !!! Life made a 180 degree turn !!! I knew I was going to make a career in science and technology only. As usual, those days around mid 90's parents/elders would give you two options - Engineering/Medicine. Reason being job security first. If one studied general BA/BSc finding a job would be hard. Then not everyone could afford to go abroad for studies. So, after my 12th I ended up studying computer science engineering. Was not disappointed, wanted to do something with science and technology and got that chance.

After 10th my mother forced me to take science because my cousin was taking science and other reason was that she wants to see me as a doctor but I couldn't do my 11th in science because our bio teacher was teaching parts of a cocroch with real cocroach .that day I decided that I can't be a doctor.I left the science and took admission in arts.today I am a teacher and soo happy.even my cousin took admission in arts in graduation.may be she realized that she is also not comfortable in cutting and pasting of animals.

I never concentrated on my studies till 10th class. In 10th cbse board I got 50% marks. But form childhood, I wanted to be an engineer. So after 10th when schools were not giving me science I realized that my career will finish if I don't concentrate on my studies. So from there some how I got admission in science and I put my best efforts in studies. Long story short, I am now a software engineer in in a MNC which comes in 5 companies in world's fortune 5 companies. That's about me. :) So sab apni marzi se kiya and gharwalo ka koi dbav nai tha.. Ghar wale bolte the arts/commerce lele and I used to say that I wanna be an engineer. As simple as that and became an engineeer. commenting here along with the video. So want to share that I also got 33 marks in Maths in 10th class. :P
