- About Vantastic: We are a happy couple who got rid of everything to travel the world. We make vlogs sharing our daily lives in a camper van, our ups and downs, and our adventures around Europe.
What camera equipment do you use?
We use GoPro10, Røde VideoMicro with a dead kitten, Ulanzi tripod mt-16, Ulanzi cage G9, Ulanzi vl49 light, DJ Mavic Pro drone and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the vlogs. Our electrical power set-up in our camper van allows charging our camera and laptops to film and edit.
What is your van?
Our camper van is Fiat Ducato 2015, Adria Twin conversion panel van. We have done only minor upgrades and mods to our camper van, we pretty much love it as it is.
How do you afford your nomadic lifestyle?
We live on a true shoestring budget. We travel economically, we cook all our meals, we dont visit tourist traps, we enjoy being in the nature and hiking in the nature. We worked traditional office jobs for years and now we live on our savings and investments. We dont believe you need tons of money to to pursue your passion. However, we have learned that you do need to sacrifice comfort, consistency and safety, but that it is possible, very worth it, and the only lifestyle that makes us truly happy!

Call us naive, but our goal is to travel forever.

Vikos Canyon is listed as the world's "deepest relative to its width" gorge. Rock steps are pretty impressive, but our absolute favourite part was to go plunge in icy cold crystal clear Voidomatis river. The river is so pure you cn drink it without boiling the water first! 🤩💧

As a greek hiker I can say that there are really many groups with people who like walking in the nature! You show again another amazing place!
We have seen a few of those hiker groups! A lot marked good hiking trails in Greece. We like to use the app called AllTrails the best. Some trails go in the direct sunlight the whole day and are more suitable during winter better. Greece has a great hikes and beautiful versatile nature, we are so lucky to be here.
Thanks for panoramic camera views. I was often exposed to hot weather during my military service. When sufficient water was available, I would often wet my uniform to get a cooling effect from evaporation.
That is a good tip to stay cool, thanks. Dipping your head underneath the cold water feels amazing too!

I try to do as many dips as possible in the Danish fjords - but looove to see those beautiful spots.
We are not missing Finland, but surely Norwegian fjords and fishing.
The 360 shots were AWESOME! This was fun to watch. I am hoping to catch someone peeing next to my van so I can say, Hallo! with a silly look on my face. I will ask if they need tissue and maybe try to have an awkward conversation. 🤣🚚

Hitto tuota tiedon määrää mikä teillä on reissaamisesta 🙌 Ootteko käyneet Bordeauxista alaspäin Espanjaan ja pitkin sitä Biskajanlahden rannikkoa? Jos, niin millainen oli? Siellä ei lienee niin kuuma kesälläkään?
Santanderiin saakka aika tiukkaan rakennettu rannikko täyteen, ei tykätty. Vähänkään menee rannikolta pois niin yksi kauneimmista Espanjan osista.
Mites siellä Kreikassa noi täkäläiset "Jokaisenoikeudet"?
"Oikeuksista nauttimiseen ei tarvita maanomistajan lupaa eikä niistä tarvitse maksaa. Jokaisenoikeutta käyttämällä ei kuitenkaan saa aiheuttaa haittaa tai.."
Kreikassa jokaisenoikeudet ovat käytännössä laajemmat kuin Suomessa ja kreikkalaisille vapaus on kaikkein tärkeintä elämässä.

Veikkaan etteivät voi EU-aikana harrasta moista syrjintää joten rinkka ja retkeilykamppeet matkaan ja sinne vaan lämpimiin maisemiin retkeilemään? Kivalta näyttää nuo mestat.. Tuo raikas puhdas jokivesi kruunaa kaiken.
Balkanin historiaan vahvasti liittyy kulkurit ja vaeltajat. Vieraanvaraisuus tulee suoraan sydämmestä tuntemattomia kohtaan ja niille jotka ovat tien päällä.
