Hi Russel i was there for 14 days and it was a nice cosy place and warm too warm at tomes so the window was open a lot even with it being winter season
In Russia, heating is very good compared to Europe. We have a lot of gas, oil, coal, cheap electricity. Utility bills are 5-10 times cheaper. I pay $0.81 for gas unlimitedly in St. Petersburg. I can literally burn all 4 comforts 24 hours a month. The price will still be $0.81 It is now +25.6 Celsius in my apartment When Russians come to Germany or England, they freeze there, no matter how strange it may seem. The locals have a hard time with +18 degrees
Hey Russell good value everything that you need not keen on the wall paper but the view was fantastic found it very interesting thank you for sharing ❤
The owner of the apartment divided the apartment into 2 parts. This is visible when Russell enters the first door This is both legal and not entirely legal. Based off the average Russian salary to a U.S. salary. This apartment is the same value as $3200 or a New Yorkers worth of $4800 a month. Think about this apartment cost based off of a Russian salary, not an American one. Then you’ll realize $26 a day is no deal!

Dear Russell, I don't have enough imagination to justify the daily rent of this (or similar) apartment in Krasnogorsk for such a price. I am not ready to waste time and effort on trips to the city center. Therefore, when I come to Moscow from my Siberian city, I rent an apartment no further than two metro stations from the Garden Ring.
It's very affordable. The city center is reachable in approximately 1 hour, for example via M2 line&MCC. Also, it may be convenient to live there if one is attending some businesses events in Crocus.
@newsunderfoot I think so too, a little closer to the center would be nice, however the walk to the metro isn't that bad walking along the river and over the bridge.
I find the lobby to be very ugly. I'm not too keen on the wallpaper in the apartment, either. But I do find the daily rate to be reasonable. Thank-you for the tour!
Hi Russell, I live in Krasnogorsk. And I have to correct you, Krasnogorsk is not a district of Moscow. It's a city and is the capital of the Moscow region. Before, we also had snezhkom, the biggest indoor ski of europe and only one in Russia.
Some thing like that. There private rentals, that are listed on marketplace website. This one is a daily rental apartment. You can book dates on the website like airbnb.
It's appropriate for 1 night stay if you have to spend your day in Krasnogorsk or nearby. Otherwise there's lots of more distinguish places for reasonable price. Krasnogorsk is quite shithole tbh.
I wonder if the apartments are less if you rent monthly. For a 31-day month, it would be $809. I guess this would be okay if you plan to visit Moscow for 2 weeks. Oh, and I agree with a lot of the comments, the wallpaper is hideous.
Too small for me ! I like my 5 acres and 2000 square foot house in Alabama ! I also have a large barn to work on my car restoration projects ! My neighbors are down the road .
it's an alternative to a hotel room for short term stay in Moscow (and is just one of thousands of possibilities). For example there are hostels 2-5 floors high only and totally comfortable and very reasonably priced too. In any way, you comparing where you live - with a short term option in a completely different part of the world in an absolutely different context - makes no sense.
Good day Sir, I just wanna ask if this place near Vnukovo international airport? because I am planning my Vacation next month Sir wanted to rent in this apartment in God's well
Я как проживающий в России могу сказать, что жить в России с зарплатой, на местных предприятиях за 391.57$, не очень. При том, что это еще и не мало, кто-то живет на 150-170$ в месяц.
I don't know how they are allowed to divide an apartment like that. You would not get that in most nations for safety reasons. It is almost like capitalism gone nuts. Which is ironic being formerly the USSR
You need to watch some of my other apartment tours. I have shown this type of micro-apartment before. Where they are separated into smaller places. ua-cam.com/video/_GMCTNlwc9Y/v-deo.html
Very interesting! The inside of the building, especially the design and color scheme of the corridors is horrible. The apartment looks tiny and uncomfortable. I could not live here.
As a daily rental, its the idea behind this place. As its close to the convention center, a lot of these places will rent out to people coming to Moscow for the events held there.
How is this better than a hotel where you have a maid and room service? And this is in an area where there was a terrorist attack and Russia did nothing about it. I would rather see actual hotel rooms than these horrible little places.
Seriously Russ, I know your thing on UA-cam seems to be to promote Russia and all things Russian but when you keep showing these tiny little apartments in high rise building it's not really working. It's kind of depressing to think of living there to be honest especially in winter.
Russel is simply opening our eyes to Russia. This country has unfortunately suffered so much mudslinging by snobbish western media and states. Visiting a new country, perhaps the number one objective is where to stay. It's appropriate that he share his insights on available, affordable accomodation. Again, UA-cam is a vast media scape that allows us to take regular breaks and escapes, to skip content we don't really care for...
Well, it sounds like this isn’t your niche, as far as programming. Instead of complaining, you can feel free to select a different channel. Russell has a right to explore the content he would like to pursue with or without your approval. And, You have the freedom to explore other channels more to your liking.
I posted the location in the description of the video. It's close by Crocus City Shopping Mall, about a 20 minute walk from there. Also the metro is next to the mall as well. Cleaning is included in the rental, you can ask them to come and clean during your stay, or wait until you check out.
I hate to say it but I have to give a thumbs down to this apartment. The design of the hallways is hideous and the apartment is very tiny its basically just a hotel room. I would not want to come home to this place in any country. Im not sure what they were going for with the decor/artwork of the hallways. Appreciate the video as always this place just wouldn't be for me.

Like a hotel room with a kitchenette but probably cheaper to stay
Exactly, that's the main point of this kind of place. There listed as daily rentals. Very much like Airbnb.
For tourists,it would be great.👌
Only if you don't like tourists
@DeniseDDS its cheap and how much time would tourist actually spent in this apartment? Most of the time he/she would be out exploring city etc.
Hi Russell, I live in Krasnogorsk. And I have to correct you, Krasnogorsk is not a district of Moscow. It's a city and is the capital of the Moscow region. Before, we also had snezhkom, the biggest indoor ski of europe and only one in Russia.
So it's like a hotel room? The flooring in the room is quite nice but the wallpaper is not my cup of tea.
Is the concierge guy there 24/7? In Athens years ago many apt buildings had one and then they stopped to save money. I wish they had it again
They are 24/7.
Looks kinda psychedelic. Fasades, lobbies and the room itself 😅
Have a shave mate!!!
You might notice by the ending, I had.
@TravellingwithRussell indeed! Looking very slick at the end!!!
Well, it's cheap enough for tourist's but thats about it.
Thats what it's designed for.
@TravellingwithRussell yep, I would be very happy to pay that price!!
All I could think about was what would one do in case of a fire! I could not stay there for any price.
I wonder if the apartments are less if you rent monthly. For a 31-day month, it would be $809. I guess this would be okay if you plan to visit Moscow for 2 weeks. Oh, and I agree with a lot of the comments, the wallpaper is hideous.
Too modern artsy for my liking. Should have that horrendous infamous burning King Charles III portrait in the lobby.
Bully for you , a yank boasting again ,
He says many times that this is listed as a daily rental, just like an Airbnb. 😊
$26 per day, $720 per month - store clerk job salary about $550 .. no comment
It isn’t listed as a permanent residence, just a daily rental, like Airbnb or motel/hotel.
I don't get daily rental, is it equivalent to airbnb ?
Edit, i should have read description, sorry ☺
Yes, it's like Airbnb. You contact and pay the landlord via online platform
@@el_glebThanks, yes after reading video description and watching it, it made sense. 🙂
We need something like this in Canada, could help with the homeless problem. Chips in the fridge, is this normal in Russia?
In the UK you can rent cardboard box for this money.
Very nice for the price. Thanks.
I think so too.
Good day Sir, I just wanna ask if this place near Vnukovo international airport? because I am planning my Vacation next month Sir wanted to rent in this apartment in God's well
This apartment is in the north west of Moscow. Close by Crocus City Expo Center, there is a mall there by the same name.
@@TravellingwithRussell Yes I know, I have watched them 😀
Does it smell like burning oil in that area?
No.............................hehehe. Wow.
Very interesting! The inside of the building, especially the design and color scheme of the corridors is horrible. The apartment looks tiny and uncomfortable. I could not live here.
That wallpaper? Big no! Looks like a hotel room.
As a daily rental, its the idea behind this place. As its close to the convention center, a lot of these places will rent out to people coming to Moscow for the events held there.
Hi Russell, can you help me?
I want to come to Russia.🙏
I’m also from Australia .
Yes, I could live there !
It looks like a Hollywood hotel
I could live there but not life there
Me too, as a short term rental its fine.
Unfortunately, the page of Avito is only in Russian!
@stavroulapanidou If you're opening it on a desktop, you should be able to auto-translate the page. That's what I am doing from here in Moscow.
Russia got the best Apartments housing infrastructure I've ever seen.
There was a lot of things around these buildings.
Very nice newer apartment buildings
There very colorful for sure.
Location?, What is included in the rent? Cleaning,? close by services? Impossible to evaluate only by daily rent!!!
11:16 disgusting wallpaper, everything else yeah good.
It seems like the wallpapers is very polarizing here in the comments.
