    appreciate the tips lil rich swagg, people always tell me I dance with huge amounts of energy, but 50% of the time it's simply too much power and I should learn when to be refined and bring more texture vs when to be beast mode/full out.

    Man I hate going full out because I'm 6ft and I feel like people judge the hell out of me when that happens... like I'm the goofiest guy in the room. I know I shouldn't care what others think but yeh it's hard lol

  • @Arinaretina

    I think I still don't really get how to go full out?? It feels like it's either I actually don't have enough strength (which is weird, I've built up so much muscle and it shows physically), or I don't know where and how to place my strength. I really want to know more in detail about how to dance with more power, I'm struggling with this so much 😭 When I feel like I using so much strength and dancing so full out I look back at the video and it's so soft and lazy. I'm genuinely so frustrated lmao

    Dear steezy,
    What should i do if my Parents not supporting me in dancing, and they always say that Dancing is useless but for me is my life.

    • @mutiaraannisa6027
      @mutiaraannisa6027 4 роки тому +56

      okay first of i'm not steezy, but! what if your parents don't support you? the answer is: never stop dancing. keep dancing and improve yourself from time to time. every improvement results a different version of yourself. that different version of yourself would be the best result that your parents will ever see, which will make them think that dancing isn't useless at all. if you wanna play proving-that-they're-wrong game, join a competition and win it. join a dance team, join classes that makes you interact more with people and become productive. the more you interact with people and be outside your comfort zone, trust me, you'll be more mature aside from being a better dancer. those two things are enough to show your parents how useful dancing is. good luck!

    • @lachellee
      @lachellee 3 роки тому +11

      You gotta increase your stamina keep pushing yourself even when you’re tired sooner or later you’ll have better energy to do the dance and be less tired, you can increase by running, working out, and dancing, but to increase it, you must keep going even when your tired running, dancing, working out, etc.

    what about when competing in a popping battle where control, timings, precision, dime stops etc. matters, it's very hard to make your moves noticeable or full-out cuz it will look like your jerking/bobbing a lot and have no control of your movements when going all out.

    Ok so I'm Actually from a country where there aren’t many modern dancing academies...its all only traditional dances such as kathak,bharatnatym and folk...i actually learned bharatnatym for three years and I'm kinda good at it..but whenever i try kpop dances or hip hop or anything western i look like a dying chicken and i cant figure out why?!

    • @patoisee
      @patoisee 4 роки тому +4

      I just watched a video of a bharatnatym performance and I feel like this is a very controlled and stiff kind of dance style it reminds me a bit of ballett also it seems like the movements are rather "cut off" and only connected by steps moving into differnt directions whereas in most kpop dances the transitions are more soft or the movements seem to flow into each other. I mean I am no expert and I haven't seen a video of you dancing but maybe you could try realxing your body and feel the movements thoroughly and not try too hard, sometimes trying too hard can make movements look akwkard also I think you have to get used to a different type of dancing so practice might also help you don't give up you got this! the more you practice kpop choreos the better it will get fighting! :)

    Dancers, I need help. So, I danced Galaw Pilipinas (you can search the steps on yt) Its a basic choreography but my problem is that people have been telling me I was too energetic and I looked like I was exaggerating (I did body rolls, I jumped higher, I made my moves more precise and clean) and also, I wasn't even using my full energy. I used 70% and people were already critcizing me because of it and I feel like if an experienced dancer danced to that choreography, They would go all out.
    Was my energy fine or do I have to control it?

    Ok can someone tell me if being a full out dancer is a good or bad thing in the US bcs here in Indoensia I cosndier myself as a full out dancer my energy and power is big and I like to dance big when it's possible but I feel like people here don't really appreciate that..... They like more chill back almost no energy dancer and it's kinda frustrating to me bcs I compare myself to those dancers and I'm starrting to think "should I just be that type of dancer?" And I genuinely don't know what's good dancing anymore. My goal is to work as a Commercial dancer in the US, LA specifically and I would like to think that this full out and big dance moves is more appreciated there and I'm just at the wrong country. So pls answer my question
