That was possibly influenced by the older "Basilisk Run" remix of that tune by Vurez: ua-cam.com/video/OoZoqEdvt28/v-deo.html. It reminded me of that straight away.
I admittedly might have gone a bit weirder with the syncopation, but the original is pretty weird when you break it down! Each phrase begins like a 16th note behind the measure. Sorry if you didn't feel like it was clean enough to match the original.

The effort is appreciated. No one ever plays the first stage. Everyone play stage 4-2, which is awesome to be sure, but 1-1 my favorite. I can understand why it's not played that often. It seems crazy hard.

Thanks to my new work schedule, I have to choose between smelling bad at work or enjoying this mini concert right here; sadly I chose to miss the mini concert Q(T^T ) But nice job with this. Honestly I never got past Murai on Ninja Gaiden, so I can't share in the epicness of it all but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
