This is my favorite group from childhood. Jimmy Lee Nunn is one of the finest lead singers period across all genres! He is the truth. This group always has a tight sound quality.
I agree 100%. Bro. Nunn never disappoints with his lead work. His work on their version of "I'll Fly Away" from their "I Won't Let The Savior Down" LP (1978) is one of my favs.
Wow this video bring so many memories wen I was a child the Indiana Travelers would come to chicago, I looked forward to seeing them each time! Mr Jimmy Nunn one of the greatest singers!! Thanks for uploading this video!💕
Was watching this tv show on net flix called, Life on Mars, eps 5, they have a song by The Mighty Indiana Travelers called, Any Where in Glory.. sure enuff. Marion Black showed up too.
M y brother Kenny Hoskin was the bassist on that recording, and my uncles Fred Reese Sr. and Mack Reese Sr. were vocalists and co-founders of the group. RIP Kenny, Uncle Fred and Uncle Mack.
Bob Lindsay is another great one. I was listening to some of his lead work on an early Gospel Ambassadors LP just the other day. He was singing the song "Sweeter Land". Simply amazing!!
