The MP220 AMG is 186 bhp and has a firmer ride with less body roll in the bends and roundabouts. Worth sourcing the AMG version if planning on towing. I’m looking to add an Eriba for extended touring.
Ah interesting. I checked the 2022 spec and it only lists the Amg as available on the 300d with 237bhp. The 220d is 163bhp, with no Amg option. I definitely agree it's worth having that power if towing. Eriba sounds cool! Think that could be a great setup!
Defo agree with the 360 camera, driven vans of similar size to the MP without cameras and had a few scrapes.Diesel heater absolute must in the UK, unfortunately dealers dont seem to have a clue about them, if you're buying a SH MP dont bother asking them if it has one just look for the vents or squiggly lines, dont ever leave anything in front of the vent outlet it will melt it (wifes shoe) 😁engine power, if you want more superchips is your friend to get up to 220hp for £300. As for 4 wheel drive, had a van that had it and still got stuck, to take advantage you really need the tyres, agree with the awning, only really usefull if your hitting the continent regular, is handy however in light rain, the silver awnings look nasty imho so got the black one for ours which blends in better i think, nice video dude
Thanks Nobby - sounds like we share similar views on this. I totally agree on the dealer front. Useless! You made me chuckle with the melted shoe - I may include that in a future vid on things that can go wrong with the Marco Polo! 😂

2018 AMG 220 186bhp.
@@amouraviva aha! Yes so I don't think that's available now from new but is definitely worth searching out on the used market
