By the time he fixed and maintained his back issues, his shoulder went, the knee. ALLL IN HIS PRIME YEARS. From 24-28 years old. Dude had back problems while averaging 32ppg on one of the weakest supporting cast a superstar has ever carried in the playoffs. Literally no other go to scorer, not even a defensive stopper. All facts, not excuses, but you already made up your bias mind up I’m betting. Your mad he made the HOF?? Sure you are.

Shaan Ajaz you need to rewatch this video if you think Russ is quicker than rose. Rose wasn’t human pre injury man so strong so fast so much skill. It was like watching Michael Jordan in his prime.
So many insane plays that they don't even have the game winner IN Golden State WITHOUT Butler in OT Or the Halloween game winner in Chicago against the Knicks, over DPOY Tyson Chandler His double clutch, in-the-air pass to Taj Gibson IMO is even better than the Noah pass against the Pistons too. I believe it happened against the Sixers, trap came at half court and it still couldn't stop D Rose. Hands down the most underrated passer/playmaker in the history of pro basketball. This dude is not "just a scorer." The best offensive weapon he ever played with was an old Pau Gasol. Give Prime D Rose some horses to run with & watch him shine even brighter

But he’s a testament to what hard work and that never quit persona can achieve. I wish we could have gotten to see his full potential we all know he would have gotten a ring for sure.
The messed up part about this is... This is considered "Prime Rose" . This wasn't even suppose to be considered his prime years because he was still young and only getting better at a rapid pace. We call this his prime only because he's been injured a bunch of times... If you have been following rose since the beginning you would know he still has highlights similar to these post injury.... If you have been following him he still can give you 18-20ppg if the refs wasnt on any bs with the foul calling. He has also put up 20plus point games and 30 point games since hos injuries. If you have been following him since his injuries you would know he still gets up for the good teams and star players and sometimes outshines them .. Its so trash how its the popular thing to talk about his knee injuries cause this dude is still an above average players. They dont give him a chance to show case what he still offers UNTIL the ball in his hands. Its the popular thing to say nowadays that rose is trash and most of the time the people that are saying it doesnt even watch him... Rose is my favorite player so I'm riding with him regardless

Lets be honest, this man never hit his prime, and God knows what would've happend in the NBA. I'M JUST SPEAKING FAX
Basketball gods got no mercy it’s unfortunate
Curry would have been playing in his shadows. That’s how good rose was.
Stop spitting dude, you’ve filled the room with faxx
True, I 100% believe that he'd be a multiple time MVP at this point if that tragic injury never happened
FACTS!!!
2024 and still miss this man playing in the NBA like his prime😔
If he would've never tore his ACL that year he would have a ring I believe the bulls were coming
Most definitely
Spo even said it after the bulls swept the heat that some of his heat players were in tears in the locker room. Unofficial reports stated that many heat players were openly questioning why the heat won’t play more like the bulls.
@@Bork19 yep the bulls had Rose for offense and the entire team had scary defense
I mean you never know if I told you the 2011 thunder wouldn’t win a ring back in 2011 I’d be called crazy all it takes besides, there was some pretty competitive teams at the time he was MVP like the lob city clips, heat big 3, old spurs, maybe the Mavs, And if he didn’t tear his ACL he would’ve matched with the very dominant Cavs and the best team in the history of the NBA 2015-2019 Warriors, KD and Westbrook Thunder. You gotta think about it my guy.

When you're entire game plan can be summed up with, "Give it to Rose" you know you got a special one.
One of the biggest "If only he stayed healthy..." players in NBA history. Derrick Rose, Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill, Tracy McGrady... all amazing players that were plagued by injuries that either ended or hampered their careers way too soon.
ragingfiip Yao Ming
Brandon Roy
Mcgrady was health until his 29 And still could not pass to second round.
Yao Ming and Brandon Roy, especially Brandon because he was like a young Kobe but ended his career too early, he would dominate the league if he was healthy just like my man DROSE.
ytalo rafael nope. Dude was always injured and had bad back problems which killed him mentally, lost his first step, didn’t attack the basket like he did in ORL.
Crossover like A.I, athletic like westbrook, and can finish like kyrie
fjjdghrfigj and hangs like MJ

The way Drose controls the ball in air to avoid getting blocked is just so impressive. No wonder why he caught my attention and used to be inspired by him due to his beautiful play style when I was still a ball lover

it is nice but Lebron is the best

Tell me about it
So many insane plays that they don't even have the game winner IN Golden State WITHOUT Butler in OT
Or the Halloween game winner in Chicago against the Knicks, over DPOY Tyson Chandler
His double clutch, in-the-air pass to Taj Gibson IMO is even better than the Noah pass against the Pistons too.
And that move against Miami where he splits Wade and Lebron for the finish.
D-Rose is the GOAT

I still watch him now and his playing style is different he's now more finding open teammates and easy mid range rather than explosive dunks and iso but his still got these hella athletic layups and sometimes even dunks
he can still get up just not in traffic

He’s been playing really well so far!
He didn't reach his prime. People always talk about how good he was on his prime. But listen, he became the youngest MVP at the age of 22. That age is still an up and coming talent in sports who still needs development and experience. Prime age in sports ranges from 25-28 years old. And as you gain experiences and development, your overall skills sets would increase dramatically. If he reach his prime age, OMG!
Right And if you reach 29-35 thats when you have a competitive champion like mentality
today its been 11 years since he won mvp ♥
Nowadays it's 25-30 but the point stands.
