First, I love your sense of humor. Being an old lady, I would not have made it past 75 curry. The plane was so pretty. Your seat by the window was extra nice. Your dinner looked delicious. If I liked to fly, I might go to Japan just to go on that plane. Thank you for taking me on another adventure. Love from NC USA

Nowadays airlines in many countries try to cut off fully serviced for domestic flight but obviously not in Japan. Thank you for sharing .

The price of your ticket is less than Economy Class in the US for the same distance. JAL first class is also much nicer.
No idiots ruining your flight and pleasure either.
I imagine competition from shinkansen brings the prices down. It's why airliners in the US lobby against high speed rail
For the same distance in the US it would cost $56 for economy and about $387 for first class. Why lie?
Edit: Those were round trip prices, so actually it's only $28 for economy and first class is only $199 when comparing to this specific flight.
@@Afterburner215 The Shinkansen to Kagoshima would take 6 and a half hours. There isn't any competition for this route beyond flying. In addition the flight price is comparable to a US Business class ticket round trip, First class one way only costs $199 at a comparable distance. The Shinkansen would cost 31k without any extra amenities one way. And you have to buy your own food.
@@marw9541 JAL's counterpart is American Airlines. ANA's counterpart is United. I would never, ever, fly Spirit/Frontier/ Allegheny, which is where your pricing probably came from. I have flown Japan's version of Spirit and even that made those three look like even more trash.

So cool. II love watching planes take off and land, but to get a front row view of the plane taking off that fun and nerve racking. The food looks very yummy even the yakisoba that you had first before heading departure gate. Where I use to live, my parents and I would go and watch newly built planes practice taking off and landing across from where we would go walking.

If it's a spring, that means there's always fresh water coming in. So you're not using dirty water.
Japanese are well behave themselves, they do not wash their feet in the public hot spring place. No wash in the hot spring is the rule, just soak your feet or body in the hot spring. The hot spring place has circuling and filtration system to keep the water clean and maintain the temperature.

Oops, forgetting to use the toilet before the seat belt sign isn't good. I haven't flown much but I remember one flight where a little girl couldn't hold it after the seat belt sign came on. I don't know what the airline does in that situation for the next passengers on the following flight.

Lately I have become more aware of the many benefits of some of the uniqie cualities of Japanese customs and habits, and so forth. I am thinking of becoming completely Japanese, and making som serious changes around here.

Great flight. Beside the special livery, the aircraft also going to be rare this day. Only Six First Class Seats means only one row for First Class Cabin, right?
That’s correct. Their domestic aircraft that have first class cabins are the B767, B787, and A350. The two Boeings have one row of first class each; the Airbus-used on higher demand routes like Tokyo-Sapporo-has twelve seats over two rows. Everything else that JAL flies domestically tops out at Class J, which is really a premium economy seat with slightly better service.
