Brady has won 5 SBs, 4 SB MVPs, is a 12 time pro-bowler, has led the league in touchdowns four times, has won two league MVPs, has the most playoff wins of all time, and has been elected into the top five of the NFL's Top 100 Players every season since the show first started in 2011. While OBJ is partying on boats before playoff games, Brady is outside practicing and preparing for the big games. Instead of doing dog peeing celebrations, flipping nets, and proposing to them on the sideline, Brady talks to his teammates on the sidelines and even yells at them to get them to wake up. That's the difference between the two players.

Random Man Odell’s frustration are in relation to him not getting the ball, and he then acts like a drama queen and throws temper tantrums. Brady’s are for the sake of him knowing he messed up a play that put his team in a bad position. Once cares about personal stats, the other cares about the team winning. That’s proven by the patriots continued success, vs as The giants struggling one.

Clifton Guyette last time I checked, brady has won 5 of his 7 Super Bowl appearances. And has made the playoffs every single season, except for the year he was injured. He’s also breaking countless nfl records this year, like being the most winningest QB of all time. At least brady is able to lead his team to Super Bowls, and still bounce back from losses.

Thats the difference between guys like Ray and Tom and a guy like Odel. Tom and Ray are students of the game, not their position.....everything. They are coaches on the field, leaders and mentors. Odel has route running game that i think might be the best in the NFL, but he is, for now, still just a receiver about him and his spot. Being the man is more than being the best at your position. You need to know your job and everyone else's job as good or better than they do. High bar i know, very few ever reach it, but Odel has the talent to get there if he can get his head around it.
The whole main flaw in the discussion is reducing what it actually takes to win a championship to it's Brady who wins championships.
Put Brady on the Giants you're going to have the Giants as they are this season. Same with 49ers, same with the Jets, and any other bad team.
People think it's only the qb that determines if a pass play is successful. The under value good route running. A subtle difference in making the cut or change in direction of a route telegraphs to the db wear the pass is going just as much as a qb who only looks at one option and throws it. And they really under estimate how many times a pass is completed because the qb doesn't place the ball in a specific spot, but just throws the ball in the area that the receiver is going to be and the receiver goes and gets the ball.
Brady has never gone thru a period of not having a good offensive line. So everything gets exacerbated. The criticism of other players while none for brady. The lack of objectiveness and perspective in why the patriots have been so successful. And the annoyance of Brady haters which is partly the result of always hearing all the stuff that is lacking in perspective.

If Odell is a top-tier receiver for the same amount of time as Tom Brady has been a top-tier quarterback he would be granted the same permissions and considerations as Tom. The system isn't unfair- _anyone_ can be treated specially if they put in years at a level of greatness. Beckham can throw all the tantrums he wants after he's been in the league at least 10 years playing at a high level and people will still respect him the way they did Jerry Rice.

Randy Moss _was_ given leeway- especially as a Patriot during the 2007 perfect season. He pushed off a lot, did some extreme emoting, but his skill was so phenomenal flags were rarely thrown. People got the feeling he could have made the play without pushing off, so why bother throwing a flag? Right or wrong that's what respect gets you.
TO doesn't count- he was a special case, a diva unlike any other. His narcissism made people hate him and still does- which is why, fairly or unfairly, he is not in the Hall of Fame. He certainly would not be given any leeway- he was the most hated player on all three of the teams he tore apart, and I don't think the refs liked him any better.
