So many things to learn from each other in this community!🥰 Everyone has a different way of doing things, and I have also learned so much from others!💛
This was great Caryn. I struggle because I'm budgeting once a month social security for my husband & myself. He has a part-time job that pays all of our expenses for now (I do not budget these weekly checks), but will cut his hours in April from 32 to 24 (eek) next April. The house/cars are paid for but require maintenance and tires on both, our medical deductions and retirement are priorities but I'm trying to get 6 months ahead on all of the bills in case his job would go away. Budget videos like yours are very helpful :)
Thanks so much Jean!🥰 Although that's quite a pay cut, I'm glad you folks were given some notice ahead of time so you can make a plan and be prepared, and it's so great that your house and cars are paid off!🎉 I'm sure your diligence will pay off, you know your priorities and any extra can go to savings ... you got this!💛
@@Thefaithfuldash Thank you Caryn. It's a voluntary cutback. He's technically retired but sure he'll die if he quits working! We have 11 acres and so much work here that a 3 day work week will be a blessing. He'll keep 4 days during the WI winter, then April 1 go to 3. I'm preparing by doing a 100 env challenge (done by 12/31), then in 2025 do a 10k challenge, that may be a little aggressive 😳. Can't hit'em if you don't swing!
Wow ... 11 acres! Sounds amazing ... I bet it's beautiful to see! And you're right ... you miss 100% of the chances you don't take! Good for you for aiming high! You totally got this!!🎉
Hi, Caryn! I love these type of videos….the nuts and bolts of how everyone budgets helps so much. I would love to purchase the calendar on a single sheet but don’t see any calendars in your Etsy shop. I love/bought your Budget Bundle & have been using it for the last 3 months. The only thing I need is the calendar page. Thanks for helping me find it! 😊
Hi Stephanie! Budgets are so personal that sometimes things don't always "fit", so *yay* I'm so glad that the budget bundle has worked out for you!🎉 The calendar is not in a specific section of my shop, so it's probably under the "all" category, but here's the link just in case ... www.etsy.com/listing/1584599433/month-at-a-glance-undated-letter-size. Thank you for your support my friend!🥰 I appreciate you!💛
Nathalieeeeee!!!🥰 You've been on my mind so much lately my friend! I hope you're doing well!💛 Still a hot mess over here ... some things never change!😂😂
@@Thefaithfuldash So sweet of you Caryn ☺️ I’m doing well, very busy with the elections in Belgium (I work for the city). I needed some mental rest & time with The Lord 💛 Glad some things are still the same 😉 I missed watching your videos! ❤️
Good morning Caryn!❤ I so enjoy watching budgeting videos. I have a question, how did you get into the habit of putting money back into the bank, that you used from your buffer? And, do you ever feel like just letting your buffer absorb the money used, and saving the cash instead? I am helping my oldest to start budgeting and I am cash only. She uses her card and I was trying to come up with a way to help! Thank you for all you do!
Hi Rachel!🥰 Honestly, I *always* feel like letting my buffer absorb the money, and sometimes I do just let it ride!😂 But then my buffer gets smaller and smaller, and I end up having to build it back up again, which is probably not the best advice to give, LOL. I just try to be disciplined and pull the cash right away when I make an online purchase. I put it in my "Back to Bank" envelope, which I keep in my pursue so I can deposit the next time I'm out and about. Or, if I swipe my card somewhere, I pull my receipts right when I get home and leave them on my desk so I don't forget to pull the cash. I think of it like paying myself back, and I don't want to cheat on myself!😂.
Hi Emma!🥰 It's going up on Oct. 7th. I try to have it up on the first or second Saturday after the month ends (but I make no promises). I don't usually like to post two videos in one day, so it really depends on when my Budget With Me video goes up, which is always the Saturday after payday.
I love watching others budget their income, it's very helpful ❤

Doing a budget is a messy process - you were just showing us the reality so thank you. Great work with sorting it out and getting there in the end.
Thank you so much!🥰
Thank you for sharing how you break down your budget, I find these videos so helpful ❤
You're welcome my friend!🥰 I'm so glad they're helpful for you!💛
Happy Saturday Caryn 😊
Hope you had a great weekend Loletha!🥰💛
Great job

Love your budget videos!!! 💚😇
Thank you so much!🥰💛
Zero apologies needed, this is the actual budget process. I love it all ❤
Thank you so much Eva!🥰 I try to make things as uncomplicated as possible, and then I just make a mess of it!🥴😂
