For those of you looking at Plano deep 3700 stowaways, Doug mentions at 4:35 he had some baits rust up because he didn't take them out when not in use. A few new or not well known options are the Rustrictor Plano 3700, which is molded with VCI (rust inhibitor) which helps protect metal surfaces from rusting and works best best if the bait was placed in there since new. The negative to the box is it won't pull moisture from the box. Thats where the NEW EDGE deep 3700 will be your best bet. The Edge boxes are weather sealed, the gray portion of the box is molded with VCI rustrictor, and there is a rechargeable moisture wick included. There is also a hydro flo deep 3700 available that has holes in the box for better airflow. Nice tips Doug.
Trevor Olson thanks for the info man!
Cool video Doug! looking forward to the other ones!
Esox Pursuit new one coming Tuesday 6pm
Why do you not like glide baits. What glide baits do you own?
Nice starter kit! J/K! Wow! Love to hear the stories behind the baits. I could watch this type of content for days on end. Looking forward to your presentation at Titletown this March. I jig Bondys a ton. Let's talk. :)
Bob Parteka looking forward to March!
Do you have a video or instructions on how you put together your wall storage
Great video but you should have spend another 50.00$ for some light Lol
Not enough money in the budget rather spend it on baits
@@dougwegnerfishing Whaha. Right on, you got your priorities straight! Some lights are 1 to 3 more baits 😁
exactly what i was gonna say but 10$ should do...but damn youve caught more big muskies than any1 i know..def subbing
Bro, you are killing my bank account!
Super impressed with your videos! Did you say to add a split ring to Suicks?
Daniel Giebner yes all my suicks get split rings
What length is blue/silver Grandma?
I need to put it on my list for the Thornes sale this weekend.
chris cochran 7.5”
Nice wall decorations.
Michael James I thought so!
Michael James I thought so to!
Lol so funny i commented on one of ur videos and said u got like $10K of lures in the background... that was only half of it haha
That is a insane amount of bucktails dude. Can you go more in depth on the colors for the MuskyFrenzy apaches, staggers and musky mayhem bucktails that would be sweet
Joshua Bettin yes I have a video coming out end of December on all you need to know about my favorite bucktails!
@@dougwegnerfishing Awesome I cant wait. whats your top 5 colors? Looking to get them on Black Friday. Thank you
Didn't know a musky guy can have a "confidence" bait lol. I've never caught one, so maybe when I do ill have one of my own. tight lines!
good luck!
wow ! any river2sea wide glide 200ss you would be willing to part with ?
Just curious what the large purple/white crankbait is?
can you cast that? lol
Exclusive video fishing with it Tuesday night 6pm don’t wanna miss it.
Your insane dude.
What I learned from your video is that you are living the "dream". I hope that it does not become just a paycheck to you and that you can be thankful for the career that God has blessed you with.
Bob
(Fishing since 5 years old but having to work in an office to make a living)
Blessed to do what I do for a living. Love going to work every day
@@dougwegnerfishing Maybe before we get to old to fish, my wife and I can book a trip and you can help us catch a few muskies. Do you do geriatric guide trips? ha ha
it would have to be an afternoon trip in the summer. Not one of your early morning chip-the-ice-off-the-boat-seat kind of trips. : - )
We sure can try!
The only thing that impressed me was multiple Wirth baits! Hahaha
Did you mean to say split ring on to the nose of the suick or do you use a leader with a split ring as your snap? To pound on the rocks?
It would be both interesting and helpful if you could show us close up with more light how you bend your wire, make your leaders and build your bucktails.
Regardless I appreciate what you are doing and just want to say well done!
James Athendune that stuff is coming in the next few weeks already filmed it and have it edited! As far as the suicks I put a split ring on the bait and then attach my baits with split rings only. Suicks are the one bait I have 2 split rings attached while fishing it.
thank you for feeding us with new episodes! How was your season?
went fishing today in montreal. But no luck. :(
Season was great just ran my last trip yesterday!
And you can only throw one ata time! Lol
Iron Worker 444 haha this is true
I’m sick like you, but I don’t have that many!
Better get the smoke detector working! You have a lot of money in baits lol! I enjoy your videos!
David W thanks for watching!
Let me know if you need a best friend
Haha sounds good
You need some 45 degree gallery lights
Scott Benhart haha right!
