I love Emma crying while she watches Snow and Charming fallng in love, and I love Killian's comment "It's okay, Swan. Not everyone gets a chance to watch their parents fall in love." The way he looks down at her with such adoration while he says it! "It must run in the family." He KNOWS she loves him, she just hasn't accepted her feelings yet (or shown that she has). This isn't a Killin who's pining for the woman he loves but fears will never love him back; he KNOWS he's won her heart, he just has to give it time. I think it's also very significant that when he said that, Emma, who obviously knows exactly what he meant, doesn't scoff, make some snarky or sarcastic comment, or in any other way try to run away and pretend what he's sayig isn't true. She knows it's true as well as he does. They are kindred spirits after all.
I love this comment because it encompasses exactly how this scene made me feel about both of them. Kilian knows him and Emma are meant to be. Plus, I think Emma throughout this trip also realizes not only that she loves him but that she needs him in her life. She has needed him on every adventure. And I love your point that she doesn't snap at his comment like she normally does, her walls definitely came down.

Emma watching her parents fall in love was a defining moment for her. First she realizes that she's "Home" and there's no need for her to continue running. Secondly she was able to confront her own feelings regarding Hook. She definitely needed this adventure because it opened her eyes in so many ways.

Yup, when he kisses Emma in the future, it’s because Hook’ is convinced that theirs is true love, and he hoped that a kiss would break the forgetfulness spell. He’s the most ready-to-love romantic and simultaneously extremely patient character in the show. Half the time he silently tolerates all of Emma’s nonsense and denials because he already knows it’s love.
