I wish the men wouldn't talk over Nastia so often. She has a lot of unique perspective being a former elite female gymnast herself and I'd love to hear more of her commentary, but she's interrupted so often. Even so I still enjoy and prefer these three commentators together, even though I know that's not always a very popular opinion in the gymnastics spectator world!
So do I but if you remember, when Elfie had to assert herself, everyone got on her case about her attitude and they eventually let her go. One of these two men is a borderline bully and can only work with a wilting lily. Although I have to say, since Nastia joined them, they are not as obnoxious toward other gymnasts, especially the Russian girls.
@@tacksscherbo7771Elfie didn’t “assert” herself, she was NASTY. She was ten times worse than either Tim or Al. That’s why people didn’t like her. Her comment about the Russian athlete in the 2003 world team championship was proof of how awful she was- considering the guys were both like “really Elfie?!” She was the bully. Nastia gets her chances to speak, just watch other broadcasts. Some just tend to talk more than others.
It drives me CRAZY to hear Tim Daggatt talk over Nastia. She has so much more experience and input on WOMENS gymnastics.
