This evening I went to Backyard Bike Shop to watch Nic work on a custom built Bombtrack Hook gravel bike with Sram groupset and ZIPP finishing kit.

Hey Jimmy great video! Just a suggestion: you should keep the ambient audio from the workshop instead of having just the music! That’s what I loved about your last bike build, hearing the saw cutting thru the fork, etc%. Can’t wait for more builds!

Yes, that's a branded 696 frame. Carbonda's is related to Flybike, which is an OEM for many brands. There's over a dozen bike brands selling this frame. There's nothing wrong with that, as long as they are transparent about it and don't inflate the price too much. If you buy it directly from Carbonda, it's only $480 excl. painting, shipping and taxes, and that's excluding the volume discount you get as a bike brand 🤷‍♂
