I unexpectedly found myself with an afternoon off work from my office job yesterday and decided to pop into Salvation Army since I never get to go on 1/2 off clothes day. I thought it would be picked over by afternoon, but to my surprise I found great items including Wooden Ships, Babaton, Ramy Brook, Eileen Fisher, Vionic, Lafayette 148 (new tag) but the most amazing surprise was that I found a brand on my BOLO list for the last 5+ years as a reseller…Eskandar! Not 1 but 2 Eskandar sweaters and one of them was New With Tags! I think I paid $3 for each! Amazing thrift day! Great video as always! 😊
I wish our Salvation Army had 1/2 off days.
@@saraquenzer9057 - It’s only on Wednesdays. I wish our Goodwills had double tags days or coupons! I always see people on UA-cam talking about GW coupons - none here.
@@soulsis78 our GW’s only have 30% off sales on holidays. And our savers have at least 25% off certain days so that’s good but otherwise no two dollars or below which I’m sad about.
I found a pair of Eskandar Japanese linen pants recently at the Goodwill for $4. So unassuming. But that was the first time for me, unless the bland tag and style just didn’t ring a bell for me in the past.
Sold a pair of nwt COS Leather wide leg pants for $247 lol paid $5.99! Price tags $500 was so excited

I love finding Vuori and Aviator Nation. Of course, I’d love to find Gucci, Prada, Doen, Zimmerman but it seems like higher priced items sell much slower. I recently found a pero maxi dress and was shocked to see the retail of $1,200! RR has them listed for $350-600. I’m sure it will take a long time to sell but I was so excited. I found a silk Dolce & Gabanna a couple years ago and it’s still sitting in my closet. It’s gorgeous!

Fab haul❤ I was fortunate to find Sezane 5 times at the thrift (on separate thrifting day occasions )I kept one for myself and the other 4 pieces were sold quickly. Hope to find John Galliano which I only found once and sold for $269 on eBay. That was a great payout 😊 So my list is John Galliano and Jean Paul Gaultier 🤞
I found Selkie at the thrift for the first time this week and a dressed in LALA dress too! Doen is on my list too!
Today for the first time I found 3 pieces Jenni Kayne, Frank &eileen , oliphant, and 3 vuori pants
You may want to consider sweater shaving the everlane cashmere sweater. I found a green one less than 2 weeks ago. I sweater shaved it and it sold 3 days ago for $68. Great video as always Mogi!

Is that something Poshmark supplies to you or is that a app you downloaded.

I find designer stuff at the thrift store, but I am never sure if it is real or not (especially the heavily logoed stuff) so I don't wind up picking it up, at least not for full price (then wonder if I left something really great behind).

Have you ever found a sezanne collab with Madewell? I’ve picked up a dress but I’ve had it for a while and wonder if the collaboration doesn’t do so well as on its own. I’ve never found a sezanne before and been on hunt but no luck yet.
Sezane is my favorite brand! I have found about 10 items thrifting haha. It's way cheaper in France!
I love finding Jenni Kayne and Doen (found it twice) but I'd love to find Christy Dawn and Sezane which I'm always on the lookout for.

I recently went to check out a new to me Goodwill and found my first Sezane dress i didnt look up comps at all just thru it in my cart, its got a lot of likes and im hoping to make a sale on it soon.

Last week, I found a Sezane mohair cardigan. Gorgeous, stunning cardigan! Sold within 4 hours!
I got Andie in liquidation last year (late fall) and it's been selling well for me lately. Usually MSRP around $90 for one pieces and I sell them between $40-$60 depending on style and size. Nice find! I don't have one myself but people say they're good suits too.
NILI LOTAN and Mother are my Fav brands to find!! Nice haul!
I would love to find Magnolia Pearl and Anine Bing. Sezane is also a favorite!

I don't live in an area where one finds amazing brands, so I get by with a lot of bread and butter. However, this past December I found not 1, not 2, not 3, but SIX Johnny Was pieces in XL. I couldn't even get my brain around it. I saw another gal carrying around another Johnny Was in velvet. I never in all my imagination thought I'd find the brand in my town at the price I paid for those tops - $3 for each top. That was a good day. I'll be thrifting in Austin in April and I have my fingers crossed to find Johnny Was and Magnolial Pearl.
