Yes and, it was a German "vermachts officer" who stopped the horrible Scandinavian Genocide in Poland and Ukraine. Not one of the guilty paeple were ever punished for this....some of them are still alive 😪
Allies conquered the Axis Powers as soon as they possibly could. Much was done. There are, unquestionably, always different actions that could have been taken. Hindsight. I am grateful to all Americans who gave their ALL.
