My 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe engine just blew last week on Christmas Eve. I paid a crap load of money when we bought the car last February so I’m expecting and hoping the warranty pays for everything!!!! That’s including labor.
I have a 2013 hyundai santa fe 2.0 turbo ! I am having a long block installed ,can they pull stuff off my old engine and put on the new block! The engine is 4700 with tax .and labour is 2300, what do you think this will cost me in total!
I have to do the 2.4l swap on the same car tomorrow. I'm looking forward to do it it over the german motors i've been swapping lately. Is this as easy as the sonata? Is there any tips or just grip it and rip it? Do I have to remove the transfer case or does that stay on?
you have to remove the transfer case for the bell housing bolt. but not a big deal. you can do it easier than you think. I will support you whenever you need help. go ahead bro.

Did you have to replace a lot of periphery stuff like gaskets, hoses, etc.??
Some are re-usable. Some gasket are mandatory to replace.
Was this part of the engine recall?
What the price for a new one an labor?
