@@joestropicals6760 they are very sweet, and ripen very quickly. Before I pruned my tree it gave masses of fruit, and if you didn't pick them in their unripe state they would spoil quickly and drop off.
The lemon guava looks great Joe. Strangely not all mirabelle plum trees are created equal. My parents have 2 old large ones in their garden that are loaded with yellow plums every year but I don't like them at all, they are quite sweet and also strangely perfumed but I find they have an unpleasant aftertaste. I haven't tasted any other mirabelles so I'm not sure if this is typical or if perhaps these were a poor variety planted many years ago or possibly even self seeded and therefore not a good strain
Hey Brett, that’s a shame about your parents Mirabelle! Mine is a Mirabelle de Nancy and tastes absolutely delicious 😋 If I could I would ship some over to you to taste. Really does taste like honey 🍯 with no tartness whatsoever.
@@joestropicals6760 these probably aren't a named variety as the tree is very old, but they aren't tarte, they are sweet, but I don't like the aftertaste at all. Fortunately they have greengages and Victoria plums which are lovely lol
Unfortunately I no longer have this tree as I have a pet dog and the seeds of the fruit are toxic to them. However I planted a Persimmon tree in its place 🤩
Hi Joe, what a beautiful sight!
Hey Eri, thank you 😊 it’s a real blessing to be able to grow these beautiful fruit trees 🤗
That is a beautiful plum tree, wow, that is a lot of nice flowers on the tree. Hope it produces a lot of great fruit of your Joe. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Johnny, thanks my friend! These plums are sooo tasty 😋, so yeah I really hope it gives us tons of fruit 🤗
Thanks for watching and commenting 🙌🏽
Beautiful blossom , ive never heard of Mirabelle plum, ive got Victoria plum, sadly not much room in my garden for any more fruit trees.
Thank you Louise, it’s a real blessing to be able to grow these beautiful fruit trees. What would you rate Victoria plum on flavour?

Nice tree. My stone fruit are also fruiting 😁
Abel, great this time of year isn’t it 🤗
@@joestropicals6760 it sure is.
How old is the tree? They tend to be quite slender & flimsy looking but yours is very full & seemingly long established (hence the tons of blossom)

Think there was a green snake on you tree? 😮
Hi Liz, it’s a fake one to scare away the birds 😂
