    My grandmother kept a small bucket of rosemary in all the rooms of her house. She insisted that during the Spanish Flu it is what kept her family free of it. When she changed out the water she poured the spent water around her house and it seemed to fertilize her roses. They grew up and created a gorgeous hedge around her home.

I have been adding Rosemary to salad dressings, smoothies and today I'm going to add dried rosemary to my castor oil, which already has cloves. I use it to massage all of my achy areas and my face. After a few weeks massaging my lids and eye area with castor oil I no longer saw the big spider leg floaters that I saw all the time.

    Hello! I started using rosemary and clove water last fall as I had a lot of hair loss and a huge bald area. It’s since grown in. I started using it again as I dyed my hair 2 months ago and it started falling out badly. So I’m embracing the grey and using the spray again. I’m going to check out your video on your recipe for the oil version. 😇❤️( I’m in a small apartment without a balcony. So I’m buying items at the grocery store. Or going on nature walks and picking them.). Love your videos.

    I have started grinding my dry rosemary to a powder and honestly my family loves it sprinkled on my dry canned potatoes with salt, powered onion, and powered garlic before we put them in the air fryer to crisp them up. It’s a great way to add nutritional herbs to flavour your food.

    I always tie a red piece of yarn around two stems per plant of my rosemary and don't clip off stems from those two. I do this so the blooms can produce and give me seeds. The rest of the plant gets a regular haircut (I call it) as it grows out for the season and become big, bushy but short.

      @faithboothman9496 2 роки тому +4

      @@Rose-ht3xc Sure, please understand I am not a doctor and I am telling you what worked for me. I use 3 drops of organic rosemary essential oil with 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil and rub it into my scalp, wrap a towel around my head and leave on for 30 minutes. Don't do this more than twice a week, I do it every 4th day. Then I wash my hair as usual with a paraben free shampoo and conditioner. In addition to my daily vitamin I take some additional vitamins, b complex, 3000 mcg biotin additionally to the b complex, 250 mg vitamin C, 50 mg zinc with copper vitamin and just in case my thyroid needed some help I take 150 mcg kelp for some natural iodine. Sometimes hair loss is caused by our thyroid. I was sick in december, I am still taking these vitamins and I might continue to take them at least until december this year. You might need to tweak things for yourself as our bodies are all different. Good luck, let me know if you have additional questions. Honestly, I can not tell you which one is the most important because I started taking the vitamins all at the same time except for daily which I always take. I was panicking because of the amount of hair loss I was having. But, I didn't start the hair oil treatment until about 3 weeks after the vitamins and that is when i noticed a difference. Not sure if it was because the vitamins finally kicked in or if it was the oil treatment. Or maybe it was a combination of both.

      @@faithboothman9496 Thanks for responding so quickly! I understand that it's not medical advice, I'm just trying to get ANY INFO I CAN (including this video) because I have lost so much of my hair already. Not in clumps or anything, I have always had rather fine hair, but tons of it and that's the only thing that's saved me so far but it's alarming when you lose so much, so fast! I thought it was stress until my Dr told me that she's seen alot of clients lose hair post covid. I had it in November and I'm still losing hair. my Dr said it varies from person to person as far as how much they lose and for how long. I've been taking the biotin and B complex as well as C, D and zinc. What is the copper for? I don't think I've ever seen copper in vitamin form before-is it in with the zinc? Also I'm only taking 1000mcg of biotin so maybe I'll have to increase that. I just bought some tea tree shampoo as well to try.

    Thanks for this. You cover a lot of ground in a little amount of time. The NIH site is an excellent resource site. I now have a reason to propagate the plant into all rooms of the house for winter by using a grow light to get them started. I can plant it with Thyme, Lavender, and Sage. The four would provide an excellent aroma for the room and they need less water than other plants. All of which have excellent properties for health. This also points to essential oils combined with a carrier oil for personal health uses.

    When I use to grow Rosemary I enjoyed putting it in brown gravy. Just crack the leaves a bit and put the whole unstriped section (do not need much) into the gravy(when the gravy is done) and stir while tasting the whole time. It does not take long to add the flavor and you do not want it to strong, just more of a background taste. Thank you for your videos and time :)

    I made the most lovely tea just last week, cut two 2’ pieces off a fresh rosemary bush, two 2.5” tips of Oregano, about 1.5” piece of ginger root sliced, 2 Tbsp. Honey, (in the tea pot) a 1” piece of pineapple, a wedge each: of lime, Lemon and orange. Poured boiling water into the teapot. Let it steep for ten-fifteen minutes! It was sooo amazing, I actually added it to my iced water with cucumber slices. The next day I boiled more water and just added the boiling water to my previous days blend. Still same delicious flavour!
