Fortunately, they have already doen this exact same thing at WDW's Haunted Mansion...after the 2007 rehab, the Master Gracey portrait in the foyer is no longer a slide projection, but an actual digital film which morphs exactly the same way you have shown here, just a bit slower. What's weird is it reminds me of the melting face at the end of raiders of the lost ark.
