I'm pretty sure you will be able to answer my basic questions about Lamium.
My apartment is facing north and I found some Lamium by the side of the road by some other weeds, bushes and a large shrub. It looks like someone may have done some pruning and just chucked it out by the side of the road. The property is not owned by anyone, just so you know I'm not stealing it from someone's yard. LOL!
Q#1 - Can I transplant Lamium in a pot and bring it inside for the winter?
Q#2 - Will it be OK to keep in a pot? (I am not allowed to plant in the ground)
Q#3 - What is the best type of soil?
Q#4 - Can I take clippings to start a new plant or do I need to dig up the roots?
Q#5 - And lastly, if all goes well, should I use fertilizer?
It's such a beautiful plant and I have been wanting to get something that does well in the shade. I know it's late in the year, but I'm hoping to bring it inside for the winter and add some life in my apartment. Oh, I live in SE Minnesota.
    Thanks so much!

@Karmah01 Lamium is easy to root, and easy to geownin pots. You could stick the cuttings in potting soil and easily grow it. You could also dig up a plant along with the roots and plant that in a pot.
It is shade tolerant, so the light provided by a window should be sufficient. I fertilize all my house plants with Osmocote and use a liquid feed (any kind is fine) according to the I structures on the packet.
