We're beachcombing in South Queensferry - the perfect place to collect super rare sea glass colours and super chunky finds!! Its no secret - any one watching our videos already knows that Queensferry is a special place for sea glass - we do not go there very often, but once in a while, we make the trip over, put up with the noise of passing trains, just to pick out a small selection of the best seaglass to be found!
From the very earliest years of Craig's life, South Queensferry has been a spacial place - so many days spent here, walking the shores, playing in the sand, enjoying a local ice cream, and escaping into a child's adventure land of wonder! The Bridge, immortalized in Ian Banks novel, has long been an inspiration for Nicole too - as an architectural wonder of the modern world, the Victorian rail link, connecting Scotland's capital, Edinburgh, to the north of the country, helped to grow Nicole's architect's imagination during her studies. How apt and lovely then that we can find beauty and wonder here together as Scottish Mudlarking!!
The sun is out, the sky is blue and its a perfect day to go hunting the perfect sea glass - so, sit back, relax and let us share our finds with you!
We hope you enjoyed today's video... Thank you so much!

Craig was spot on; my eyes were everywhere seeing beautiful pieces of glass. I loved that long oblong piece that Craig found but didn’t take! I could see it with a sinuous creeper of silver snaking down it. I live by the beach, but absolutely no sea glass or pottery 😢. To me it was like being a kid in a sweet shop!

With all that noise must be your presence on the beach - even the CROW CLUX CLAN knew you were there ! Great find the pink glass, mini jackpot ! Noticed before you reach the middle of the Forth train bridge the structure is like the viaduct that used to exist near to where I live(called the Walnut Tree Viaduct) - 1.30m. Further into the video was a milky glass object - looked like a Random sweet ! LEGO pieces still being found years later - few stories ! Very productive day and a good demo !

Hello!! So sorry for the tardy replies... Many thanks - it was a good, if wee bit noisy day! Such a busy wee spot - used to be a treat to come here for ice cream when I was a kid! Ah!! Those pillars - or are they called pontoons? But yes! They really look like the same design... Just saw there is some old footage of that viaduct online - cool!
Oh! Beach sweets! lol Dropped by a passing seagull! :D

At 21:55 you found a tiny cream-colored round object, that you said was probably a “collar stud” or something connected to a button. I think if you would not have mentioned the train or the bike, or anything about the background noise, I probably would not have even noticed. It became more annoying that you kept talking about the noises then the actual noises themselves. I have enjoyed videos in the past but I think you kind of spend too much time talking about each piece. It becomes a little tedious. Not trying to be rude in anyway. I hope it doesn’t come off that way because it is not my intention. Just giving constructive criticism. Take it or leave it but I like watching you guys so I figured it best to be truthful.
