- Come and Paint this little natural stone with me. Using dot art styluses, the etcher and a silicone oval tool.. we will paint this Peacock mandala on rock from Lake Erie. Painting on rocks can be so much fun and they are great to give as gifts

Hey Miranda!!! I don't know how long we've been here, but I'm so glad we are. Nope, haven't dotted my first dot yet. So far leaving that up to you. FYI my cell has a cracked screen now so another step closer to a new phone. Yaaayyyyyy!!! So glad I know where to find you because you know I'm gonna need a new grip too. Stock up on the varnish because I'll need a half gallon on that little grip to keep up the sparkle and shine. By the way, teal is my fave in the blue family. Thanks Miranda 💜💗💚

Hi from SK Canada…..I’ve been watching & following since early 2020. Was so glad to see your tutorial today❤. I first saw dotted items in Huatulco Mexico, i was so impressed I brought a few home. When Covid hit, I started watching UA-cam dotting videos…..your voice was so soothing. At first, my projects were wonky but I decided to use a grid which helped until I had more practice…I have also done Christmas tree ornaments. So fun & sometimes frustrating.
I love the fact that it’s not an expensive hobby to try which was really important at the height of Covid when going to the store wasn’t an option & curbside pickup was set up. So glad I found your channel & I also follow Rachel’s Rocks, a Canadian artist. You both inspire me. THANK YOU
BTW…..I prefer no music, I like that you give so much info & instruction.

Hi! You are one of the first artists I started to follow four or five years ago, I remember the Christmas tree tutorial with Maria Clark (Sweet Willow) Live. I'm so glad to see you back dotting on UA-cam again ❤️ it's been a REALLY long time and you've been missed A LOT!! You are the first mandala artist I followed and inspired my love of the art. I've been following your channel for a little more than 2 years and I've enjoyed all your videos and your tutorials have been paramount in my skill development and my "stress free" philosophy of dotting. When I encourage another artist the one thing I stress the most is for them to enjoy the process and to forget about being absolutely perfect and stressing over dot size and placement. Practice makes progress, not necessarily perfection because perfection is really just a myth, a construct invented to suck all the enjoyment out of any process. I hope you're going to be able to post more often because your absence has been felt. Life and family are certainly more important than making videos and I hope yours is doing well. Thank you for the post and update! ❤️ I hope we get to see you again soon ❤️❤️

Beautiful! Glad to see you back. I've been dotting for 2 years, and YOURS was the very 1st tutorial I followed that got me hooked. I, every day without fail, take 2 hours to thera-dot :-) I mainly do mandalas on bottles, cds, and record albums. I often incorporate some of your patterns into my projects. This one, I believe, will be awesome on an upcoming wine bottle project I have planned. :-)

Your videos are always so down to earth and encouraging. 💗 Have you tried O'Keefe hand cream? It's not fancy, but it works. My thumbs would always crack in the winter.

Hi, love your design. I do most my dot painting on glass bottles. It's a challenge sometimes but the outcome is is beautiful. I use enamel acrylic paint so it's a bit thicker. I will be trying your design on a clear glass with a blue background. Have you done any dotting on glass. Again thanks for sharing your instruction designs.
Thank you! 😊 I am not a fan of painting on glass...though I have done a bunch and coffee mugs, wine glasses etc. I use the multisurface paints but sometimes I find the consistency a challenge

What brand of paint is the Venetian gold?

How do you bend your ends?
I started doing this years ago and found d it so helpful. A word of caution, depending on the quality of the metal for your tools the ball end may break off. Just bend it once do not try to keep readjusting it. ❤️💜 I do have them in my shop already angled if needed. But here is the video o.
