Ancient pain in this music. Carries the full understanding and experience of human history and perhaps before it. I always visualize a prehistoric, wet rain forest on a cloudy day with everything still, full of life but no evidence of life. Just a presence in the absence of judgement and self perception. This piece sais nothing and yet everything. This is beyond music; something more. Organic, alive and conscious, it's hard to imagine an artist behind this. Truly an example of the artist stepping away from the art. What a gift to be exposed to this and also get it. It never gets old, and always reveals something new at every listen. It's been with me since '91 for sleep, relax, study, reflect, bus trips and just overall house ambience. It's life companion till the end.

My father told me, when I showed him this music, that it is a really fine and sophisticated music. Unfortunately he is gone for too many years, but he could play the piano, and was a clever man. I absolutely agreed him, and I still do. Also, being a diver/freediver this music is in my heart. ❤
This is beautiful music, I sit back and imagining Iam in the deep depths of the the pacific ocean watching all the creatures propel past me slow or fast and let the world go by. It reminds me of the the jaques cousteau in the 70's on his oceanic travels to the many depths of the oceans on our planet, great programs he produced :)
hungarian, that's what (i think). the last track on this album is one of the greatest ambient pieces i've ever heard. with JMJ had gone further in that direction.
They should get T-shirts printed up saying "I made it to the end of Jean Michel Jarre's Waiting For Cousteau". Without a doubt the most excruciatingly boring thing he's ever recorded.
