I heard this about 10 years ago on John Peel and made a mental note that it was worth looking out for. Remembered and somehow found it a couple of weeks ago, incredible piece of music, most beautiful thing I've heard in ages.
True , we were school mates and friends..Couldnt have found a more lovely and genuine chap though.. Used to spend so much time learning guitar, his hero was Marc Bolan, Robert was the only chap I knew back then who was always himself , didn't worry about what anyone thought. Wore an Afghan, styles his own hair. Had to fight all the way. A few of us lads liked and appreciated Jim, the girls loved him. I wish I'd been more like him...individual not weird.
mighty little sound
