Yes you should definitely coyote swap a foxbody. Believe me you won't regret it. You need to change the spark plugs in the truck after a few hits of nitrous.
You need to get bottle pressure up to 1050 psi before making a pass. 950 psi is the absolute minimum and even then it's not optimal. Get a window switch wired up to make the nitrous hit more consistent and also wire in a low fuel pressure cut off switch to save the engine if you drop fuel pressure. Oh and wire in a purge solenoid too. You said if nitrous is done correctly that it's safe to use and that is correct. But what's not correct is your setup.
The truck is making some good power on that nitrous. But maybe if you get a bed cover it will keep bottle hot cuz all that air flow can be cooling the bottle down. Great video Gavin can’t wait for next video bro
The best way to help with speed is to lose the tailgate. My old 5.7 on nitrous picked up about two tenths when I lost the tailgate. I always ran my bottle in the cab though, probably not that safe.
@@fordperformance8900 It 100% helps, beds cause a big spiral of circulation in the bed, this causes a weird drag spot. Bed covers give the truck less drag, meaning more speed.

It's the change of bottle pressure up or down that causes the temperature change. Not so much the location. With hot water the bottle is heated evenly. You can make a bottle water heater yourself or they sell them made already. Been making them since the 90s lol.. You also can hurt the motor with low bottle pressure depending on the size of the shot but it's never a good idea under 850psi. If you ever feel the motor lay over (loss of power) get off the button and or throttle. Never say in the throttle when you feel any type of lay over. This goes for any power adder or N/A vehicle to. Many people don't realize to much fuel can cause the motor to backfire or much worse. Just like many think to much fuel can't hurt anything with nitrous and that's simply not true regardless if your using nitrous or not. Nitrous doesn't kill motors. Morons do, so don't be one lol...

Run the exhaust pipe to a splitter. One side dumps out the rear outside of the truck, the other side to exit inside the bed to heat the bottle held by brackets over the exhaust. Bottle heater can be shut off whenever or however much you want to.
Two seconds away I believe you can do it btw you should put the red button for the nos in the steering wheel so you have both hands on the wheel but your probably use to it cause the mustang is a manual

I made 12.2 in my 2000 Silverado with 1.706 60 foot, lq9 243 heads custom cam and 1 3/4 headers,3600 yank ss and stock 3.73 gears, everything else was stock (an intake manifold would help ALOT but ran stock one), my next set up will be much more aggressive and bought a nitrous outlet 102mm plate kit 👿, good luck with your project brother and if you need any tips let me know.

The truck will not stall at 3500 idc what converter you have. Your brakes won’t hold. and just cause a converter is 3500 doesn’t mean you can leave at 3500. Way too many factors from weight and power are the main few. If you buy a bottle warmer and a mount a pressure gauge in the cab you won’t have to assume about pressure. Something is odd with the tune for the truck to cut off that much.
