I am a Hungarian and I have been living abroad for 7 years. So I can understand that it is not easy but you are doing a great job! I really enjoy watching people from other places discovering Hungary and hearing what they think about it. I hope my country is treating you well! Good luck with everything!
I live in Brisbane, Australia where the summer is ugly, hot & humid for at least 6 months of the year & subsequently the country and everything else looks ugly because of the heat. Unfortunately we only have 2 - 3 months of cool weather where it’s safe to go outdoors without cooking alive…. We have escaped to Hungary or Central Europe to spend our 6+ months of Brisbane summer in the European winter and it was absolutely bliss, if you are cold just get dressed but once you are hot and sweating and you’re naked you have run out of options to stay cool…. In a heartbeat I would live in Europe because it is beautiful and green and it must be a joy to live in 4 seasons… I know the very civilised, educated countries like Scandinavia are very, very clean which is an added bonus to live in a beautiful, green, cool civilised and clean country - my idea of heaven… I have spent about 3 months in Debrecen and I just loooooved it - again I would happily live there. The biggest problem with living at the other end of the world here in Australia is that it is sooooooo far away from Europe or Canada (another beautiful green, cool country) and therefore it is not easy or cheap to get out of here…. Yes, I agree with you about safety in Hungary - we felt much, much safer in Hungary - even Budapest - than in Australia… Sometimes, the grass is greener on the other side…
Hi Magdalena, thank you for sharing 😊 It is actually great living in 4 seasons, each season lasting ~ 3 months so you don’t stay in one season for too long especially if it’s one’s least favorite season. I lived in Debrecen for almost 4years as a student. it is a calm and clean city, the only challenge at that time was finding work opportunities as a foreigner. Not sure if the situation has improved now. Btw, I didn’t know Australia has really hot summers, I had to check the map again 😊
No, Hungary IS eastern Europe and has been for decades along with Poland, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, and Albania. Central Europe is Switzerland and Austria!!
@@raffiminassian2339 No Hungary is central- eastern Europe, just like Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia does not exist.
Hi Pls can you do a video on the requirements to enroll for a Masters degree there as an international student Like the one you went to and pls are there scholarship programs available there
I have a video planned for studying in Hungary and i will try to include this. Each university have their specific requirements to enrol and I won’t be able to cover them all.
Hi Gabor, thank you for pointing that out. I remember we used to argue about this with a friend. Some say it’s eastern while others say it’s Central Europe. Looking at the map, Hungary is positioned in the central region but some articles online also categorize Hungary as Eastern Europe 🤷🏽♀️
@@JanetYabuwat that "eastern categorization" is a political one, because Hungary used to belong to the Warsaw Pact and most of the members of that were Eastern European countries. Hi Wole.. water supply in Nigeria is epileptic just like electricity but we paid for it. These days, some people dig their own boreholes just to have constant a supply.
@@JanetYabuwat I'm actually amazed to hear you mentioned that there are still some places in Nigeria that still get services from govt owned water corporation. I'm in my early forties, the last time I saw or heard of public water supply was around 1991/2 in Ondo state. Anyways I love what you're doing.
Nice lovely video!!!!!!!! Just got to know of the stipendium hungaricum master's programme scholarship which ends in 3days to come. Any hint on the scholarship because I will be an 11th hour applicant and as such would love to apply to lest competitive schools. Wouldnt mind a master's in economics/business courses. Help a sister urgently please or help me with your email

Do you like Hungarian food. I love goulash!
Yes, I love goulash and some Hungarian dishes but sometimes it can be too salty for me.

Hungary is Central Europe, not Eastern!
but I appreciate you pronouncing Budapest like it´s meant to, Budapesht
