Looking incredible! I started with bonsai but have just turned this year to collecting maples and conifers I love. Have over 200 trees in containers. Really enjoy seeing these larger specimen trees. 🤘
I have been selling mature Japanese maples and dwarf conifers for 17 years and a few years back I saw Buchholz nursery (my main source for trees) was going to be done so I bought a whole bunch of dwarf conifers that will make nice bonsai. This year I basically receive not quality maples from Buchholz so I am now doing doing the maple thing.
I wanted you to know I find your videos very calming and therapeutic and also informative, I have depression and enjoy listening and finding out what these trees are called. Since I found this channel over a year ago I have also bought some small trees. Thank from Scotland 👍🌟
So my original videos I did without music or me talking since I found it to be more to nature but people needed the talking so I starting babbling away with idea of what i am going to say. I am still not willing to jam my face into the video and waving my hands around.
Have you tried to garden bonsai the metasequoia glyptostroboides? I have one and that is what I am trying to do. Its only been in the garden for 3 years but it of course wants to grow upwards but I has also started to fill in more this year lower down where it was a little bare.

No since I have not seen any that have an attractive trunk to graft intersection and i don't do air layering at this time

That is a great one, It is Picea pungens 'Coors'. It was found on the Coors property in Colorado
