Research a place here in Oregon called Whiskey Run. I go there a lot and I always get gold. Now if you do ever get out here there's a natural spring fed creek that dumps right out on that beach and into the ocean. The tide constantly comes in and goes back out causing a churning effect. The pay steaks change but the gold is always there and once you locate it again, it may surprise you at how fast it replenishes itself. It's loaded with black sand gold and some of the most beautiful rocks including Jade Jasper quartz and magnatite
I came up with a way more effective method to prospect for beach deposits. Use a piece of pvc with a point on one end and drive it in with a rubber mallet. Pull it out and push out the core sample. It should allow you to easily see the layers several feet deep. Repeat until you find that elusive high grade.

nice gold for working conditions I still think that's the spot just need more time for processing the concentrated materials, the wind you had probably pushed you up that hill. a kite for lift probably would have helped you up lol.thank you for sharing the adventure and information 😅😅😅😅😂😂😂 with that wind you could have flown to the truck or surf sailed down the beach to the truck.wow .

just want to say thank you so much jason..today was my first succesful gold prospecting/panning day..i was heavily inspired by you..just got back from the river and am goona watch your video and clean up all the black sand outta my gold..again thank you so much for everything you have taught me and the inspiration to get out and start trying..was my 3rd or 4th day trying over the past few moths and i finally got a lil bit of gold....lets just say im addicted...i got the fever bad

@@redsteam1 I think I probably hauled 80 buckets of dirt home last year and sluiced them all for MAYBE a little more gold than Jason just had 😂 I haven’t gotten into the beach mining yet tho I was needing in some local rivers with some au in it.
