Definitely the heaviest kick drum of 2022! A real highlight of the year, minimal and spooky with brilliant vocals and a massive drop. A textbook example of "less is more" - instead of filling out the arrangement with loads of superfluous gimmicks, this cuts the crap and gets to the point - a haunting vocal melody, thunderous kick drum, rattling hats and that dark chord pattern pulling the whole thing along.
Well spoken, although I don't get the idea of "haunting vocal" in my perception it is a powerful vocal. Is it due to the effect on the vocal you think it's haunting?

It's not over-sung or layered with too many distracting FX, which makes its rawness stand out starkly and dramatically. Enchanting/bewitching maybe a better word than haunting!
This type of music inspires me to create the music I make at a really high level. Glad to see songs like this that really do make you feel good and free!!
