    Thanks very much for your instructions; I have been filtering the Internet for weeks in search of the way to re-pair the Rode Wireless Go 2 System, in case the pairing get disconnected ... !
    It's a pity that these days products are thrown to the market without proper instruction manuals or videos !!!
    It took me only seconds to get the Rode system re- paired after watching your instructions !!

      Glad you are up and running again, as you say just a shame such a brilliant product doesn’t have the best information or support available. Perhaps I should ask www.rode.com for a job.

      @@nasserdhaghriri6345 I do keep mine updated. Always a good idea to keep them up to date. Just connect the receiver and each mic in turn to the app on your pc or Mac to update them. 😊

    Hi creator friends! We just wanted to say, this may also happen IF your device is not updated! The solution you wonderfully shared did not work for us at first so we connected our device to the computer and opened Rode Central where our device was updated. Afterwards, they automatically paired! Whew! Hope this extra info helps! Thank you, Dan's Car and Music Studio!! :)

      Yes this is the next step if my advice does not work. Many people also make the mistake of not updating the transmitters (microphones) but just the receiver. As you say all 3 parts of the Rode Go 2 must be updated on the Rode Central App on a PC or Mac.

    Thank you very much! Ridiculous that Rode themselves don't give this info anywhere. I lend these sets out to students on a daily basis, so they just need to work flawlessly. I got a set back the other day and it took me this whole afternoon to finally find this video, which solved it in less than 10 seconds!

    Your video has been a real lifesaver, I was about to send them back to amazon! RODE should put this in their instructions, which didn't even include details of the companion app for updating or accessing recordings via a phone..Just Crazy!

      Really glad it helped you seems so many people have this problem. It amazes me that such a pricey piece of “professional” quality kit does not come with a proper manual. The microphone system itself is brilliant but the support and instructions leave a lot to be desired.

    Thank you! Had a hyflex university class go pear/pair shaped on me today because I didn't know this. Not sure how I lost the pairing. The Go units are so reliable usually that I have utterly taken their functionality for granted.

      What a nightmare they always unpair at the most inconvenient times!! Glad the video helped you sort it out.
      If you haven’t already it’s worth connecting all three parts of the system to the Rode Central App on your Mac or PC and updating the firmware. This will help prevent it disconnecting unexpectedly.

      @@pokarier Cool and thanks for Subscribing to the channel. Apologies I put Rode Connect App it’s actually called Rode Central App. Also make sure you update all 3 parts one after the other (ie the transmitter and both Microphones)

    ohhh thank you so much!!! i was about to throw them out the window. i was at a shoot and they just got disconnected and everybody was saying press once rather than double click. the one receiver was connecting but the other one wasnt. I managed to get the job done with a different setup.... Thank you again.

    top notch video.
    have you ever had issue with one of the transmitters refusing to power on? i can see it isnt dead when plug into rode central, but its button does nothing

      Hi not had that issue before. May be stating the obvious but is the transmitter fully charged? If it is try to re-download the latest update through the Rode Central App and hopefully that should reset it. 🤞

      @@danscarchannel5367 I found the issue - on the last firmware update one of the transmitters somehow wasnt 'right' afterwards with no warnings. i had to perform a factory reset on both transmitters and the receiver using the desktop version of Rode Central.

    Thanks. I tried to pair them back many times and followed many videos, but didn't work. What you say to DOUBLE CLICK the power button on the transmitter, is the solution. If I single click the power button as it says in the product instructions, it doesn't pair.

      The solution is to update the receiver and the two mic/transmitters using the Rode Central app on your PC or Mac. Once updated all will pair again properly 😊

      Yes you need to update all three parts the transmitter and 2 microphones one after the other using the Rode central app on your laptop or Mac. Once done all will work fine again 😊 good luck!!

    I am selling my Rode Wireless Go II. Yesterday they would not pair, I followed these steps and other suggestions to make them pair. This morning some d-head told me I was doing something wrong. I turned them back on again and they are magically paired. PM me if you wanna buy.

    Hi mate, Unfortunately this didn't work for me. I've tried countless amout of times, my transmitters were paired out of the box and upon updating them to the new firmware on my macbook they seem to now not connect.

      Hi after updating the transmitter did you connect both Recievers to the Mac to update them too. If I remember rightly you have to sync them with the app…..

      @@danscarchannel5367 hey mate. So I updated the receiver and not the mics as you say. Once both updated they connected automatically without even needing to reconnect. Cheers !

    I had to plug each one in via the USB to update the firmware on all of them, and then they just connected with each other.

      If the method in the video does not work you will need to connect both transmitters and the reviver one at a time to the Rose Central app through your PC or Mac and update the firmware on each item. Once you have done this they will pair again 😊

    I haven't used my ones in a few months and when I switched them on they wouldn't pair. I factory reset them all, ensured I am on the latest firmware (2.1.9 - I was), and somehow both transmitters paired on channel 1 (ARGH!)
    I am trying to power on 1 transmitter and unpairing it, it flashes once when I unpair and instantly repairs seemingly. The wireless light is steady at least, but it doesn't show on the receiver. If I then restart the receiver, it shows it is paired. I cannot for the life of me get it to unpair, any ideas?

      Hi when you updated the firmware did you update the receiver and both transmitters? You have to update each one separately. If you do that all should be ok 🤞🤞

      @@danscarchannel5367 Yes, I updated each one separately one by one and also tried factory resetting. Each one shows 2.1.9 when connected to Rode Central.

      That’s really strange maybe the update got corrupted somehow?? Might be worth trying to update the firmware on each one again and see if that helps?? If not the you will have to contact Rode directly for support.

      @@danscarchannel5367 There's no option to explicitly update the firmware, but when I do a factory reset, it says it reloads the firmware, I tried that a couple of times on all of them :( - filled in a support request with Rode, will update once they reply.

      Have you tried to connect the mic and receiver to your Mac or pc and update them using the Rode app? 9 times out of 10 this will fix any problems. Make sure you update both mics and the receiver though. Once done they should connect automatically !! Good luck 🤞

      Hi Mattia you must update the two mics as well as the transmitter or it will not work.
      Simply connect each mic in turn to the Rode Central app and once all three parts are updated the system will work again 😊

      Delete the app on the computer and re-download it. Then connect the transmitter and update it followed by the 2 mics. Once all 3 updated should all work and pair normally.
