The Rake Tailored Beverages Part I

The Rake Tailored Beverages is The Rake’s debut drinks collection. Whilst the scheme has produced a pioneering pre-made Negroni cocktail (the Negroni No. 1), it is also a lifestyle brand. Not only conserving a cocktail, within each decanter is the soul of the community and attitude that the Negroni called upon to keep us together during this testing time.
In Part 1 of the video, The Rake’s Editor-in-Chief Tom Chamberlin quizzes Hollywood Director and cocktail aficionado Paul Feig about his conquest of establishing the award-winning gin brand Artingstall’s. Moreover, the discussion over a game of backgammon steers towards the Negroni No. 1, and how together with Wei Koh, Paul Feig and Ravinder Minhas, they have unlocked the pioneering pre-made cocktail.

Delighted to order it today. I find often that I am not able to share my passions with my circle of friends as horology and tailoring are not in my cohort’s area of focus.
In my narrative world, I am a mixture of my heroes - Gianni Agnelli, Dean Martin, Auro Montanari to name a few - and am so lucky that ‘The Rake’ has synthesized the motifs I love into a singular publication.
I believe much of what The Rake’s larger purpose is serving as a central artery around which all of us aspiring rakes can tap into to receive inspiration and camaraderie. For those of us that live in this world, a well made Negroni captures the zeitgeist of what we are searching for - simplicity, timelessness, and confidence. Grazie mille, ciao!
