I practiced this skill when I studied French in high school. In French, it is called “une dictée”. I found it was a really good way to practise writing, especially in French because In French, verbs must be conjugated in accordance with subjects and adjectives must agree with genders and numbers of the clarified nouns so the dictation can effectively test your grammatical accuracy. Anyway, thanks for the good practice.

This method is incredibly helpful for practicing listening skills. Could you do this method in your LIVE lessons? We can write answers in the chat box, you can correct them for us. And then you can show us why we mishear the wrong words. You also can give us a piece of advice about pronunciation or the way native speakers usually speak.
