Loved this place as a kid. My mom always took me and my brother. One of our favorite things to do as a family. Greatest memories ever.

I remember going to Tweetsie as a child in the late-80s--early-90s before our family moved out of NC. It just popped into my head for some reason, so I decided to see if it was still around. Nice to see kids can still enjoy this quaint little slice of Americana.

$50 per person is expensive, but it is WELL worth the money. Plus, how are they going to stay open and maintain the engines and rides if they don’t have money for parts? Yes, there are 2 steam engines, 12 and 190

I'm 67 and as a small kid we went there. The train was attacked by rubber tomahawk wielding "Cherokee" Indians. All the Indians were white. I'm quite sure that is no longer part of the show.
