  • November 1st Chasing Vertical officially begins. The climbing, the struggle, sickness, injury, it all happens. Watch the getting started video where it all kicks off.
    After 2 weeks we even pick up our temporary third member, an Australian girl named Makenzie coming on board for 3 weeks as the official belayer, and absolutely nailing it.
    Enjoy the second installment of this 13 part series all working up to the final documentary Chasing Vertical.
    Think you might have what it takes to be our new third team member? Send me a message on Instagram, leave a comment, or send me a Facebook message and we can talk about the details.
    Head editor-Vince Ostrowski, you nailed it dude.

    Good video. Are you allergic to gluten? My son was on a gluten free diet for 13 years and eventually out grew the allergy. My wife made everything GFCF for us. There are plenty of mixes and recipes available. You can use a large pot as an oven on a fire to bake your own breads and cakes. Are there campgrounds that you can hit for showers? Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick

      Yea I cant eat any gluten now sadly, ever since I got sick on the AT. I hope it goes away but im really not sure if it will. Im still figuring things out, but im getting more switched on with what I can and cant eat so things are ok.
      I reckon im real close to getting lucky with the showers thing, but stay posted haha.
      Cheers mate

      @@MathesonBrown There is a tick disease that makes people allergic to mammal products. Never heard of an infection causing gluten problems. Some people claimed that a mercury poisoning can cause gluten problems. Most people with gluten problems have Celiac Disease. There are many recipe books for GF cooking. Fortunately, meats, veggies, and fruits are safe. We used to get oats from Ireland because they are less likely to be contaminated with gluten.
      You could make a shower to use next to your van. Get a black 20 L water can, fill it, and leave it on the van in the sun. It will get hot and with a hose can provide a short shower. My van has a tow hitch on back. I bought a 2' x 5' platform that attaches to the hitch. It carries boxes on back. Take care and Good Luck, Rick
      Hawk(Craig Mains) gave you a great shout out in his vlog today.

      Miles Heath it’s a sign of inbreeding I think.

    • @MathesonBrown
      @MathesonBrown  5 років тому

      Simon said it best, probably a sign of inbreeding. That or shoes that don't fit quite right, but more likely the inbreeding ;)
