Algebra II on Khan Academy: Your studies in algebra 1 have built a solid foundation from which you can explore linear equations, inequalities, and functions. In algebra 2 we build upon that foundation and not only extend our knowledge of algebra 1, but slowly become capable of tackling the BIG questions of the universe. We'll again touch on systems of equations, inequalities, and functions...but we'll also address exponential and logarithmic functions, logarithms, imaginary and complex numbers, conic sections, and matrices. Don't let these big words intimidate you. We're on this journey with you!
About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.
For free. For everyone. Forever. #YouCanLearnAnything

I just wanna cry
i am already crying! :(((
Me toooooo😭😭😭😭😭
Lol. Some days I look at this kind of stuff; get confused and ask myself if life is worth living as a moron. But then I remember the days I come in and it all makes sense. I might not always be at my peak proformance but I live for the days where I can use my abilities to help others. But why waste them on math that I don't plan to use. I think it has more to do with weather or not you are in the mood to do it. Everyone can but not everyone wants to. This is just my experience but it's not uncommon. I hope this helps you understand why you're having trouble with math.
why can i understand everything you just did but i have no clue whats going on in class
omg that's so me
dori xhani I am just in fifth grade so I don't have to know this but I feel like he pulls stuff out of nowhere
Banana Legend GamingXL That's because you're in the 5th grade
Banana Legend GamingXL at least you're starting early, in another five years you'll be thanking the lort of UA-cam that you watched this video
dori xhani ikr
thank the lord for you , my teacher cant teach and makes stuff so complicated.
It is so nice in this day and age to have internet. When I graduated high school in 1994, we didn't get the luxury of being able to get math help like this. Now that I'm back in college, this has helped me so much. Thank you Khan Academy!
I was about to ask "positivity is positivity, but how did you get to this video?" and then I read the last bit.
Well... Looks like I'm failing my test tomorrow
Kmsl🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same
me too
my test's in 30 mins 😬😬
I just want to say thank you so much for these videos. You are a great teacher and I am sure it is because you enjoy being an educator. I sit in class struggling, paying as close attention as possible and don't get it in three hours, but I watch your 8 minute video and understand perfectly. Thank You!
You are seriously the greatest math teacher on this planet. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU SMART MAN!
HELPED ME ALOT
You are better than my teacher, he makes complicated things.
Any struggling failure freshmen like me around? Everyone in my class is literally so smart and I'm here failing everything👏🏼
Wtfff i still don get this omg T^T
Atlas I know I'm 2 years late but did you ever pass that Algebra 2 class? 😂
aylmao

thanks sooooo much.....u finally made me understand
I love you man youve helped me!
The second fraction isn't supposed to be multiplied by x+5only?instead of 2(x+5)
Thnx khanacademy, realy helped
Thank you so much.
It really helped me a lot thx
Thanks a bunch!!!
Ah i am still confused but you explain algebra 2 better than my teacher!! Thanks :)

yeH

Comment
Its this easy wow
Shruriken r 🙂
Well I guess in advanced I know i wont be getting my study guide done that’s due today.
nice
what do you mean by the end about the domain.could someone explain please
Domain means all of the values x can be. In this example, x couldn't be 5 or -5 because it would make the expression undefined
Yes
omg may gzus bless ur soul
2016 !! 😂 but still helped me alot
2020 and im still confused
but helps
I'm still REALLY confused about writing out the domain part. ????????
It's basically what can go into x to make the denominator = 0. Like the first expression if x was -5 then it would be -5+5=0 which is undefined. Or the second one if x was 5 then it would be 2(5)-10=0 which is also undefined.
Thanks man!!
In our school we have a dedicated part the domain thing except its called restrictions
@@dontask3033 yes
@@trvpgame7710 I am sure he still didn't get it the way you explained it
what do you do when 3/2b+2/5c
the common denominator is 2b(5c), multiply the numerators 3 by 5c, and 2 by 2b
I'm so confused. My math teacher says to cross multiply and then factor and then add them together. I really dont understand
Anybody else having a panic attack watching this at 4:45am?
Could: 2/2x-10 = 1/x-5
My brain hurts, but understanding feels good...
Looks like I’m failing my entire semester during this bs pandemic
Our school sys is teaching this in seventh grade, isnt this supposed to be at like, ninth grade or smth
For some reason in the summer school course (grad point) had put this into algebra 1 type stuff. Stupid.
X over x squared -9 +3 over x (x-3) helpppppp
note to self. don't ever take a maths course for the first time in summer school
Mom's Spagethetti they put this into the algebra 1 category, like tf
Lol I remember watching this I in middle school
My highschool makes this too simple . It makes me frustrated
An 8 minute MATH problem,, wtf America
He's also explains the problem, and how to do it.
Math is just a talent f this
sorry i dont get you. your to fast...
Izumi Haruhiko fast your kidding I put it on 1.5 times faster just to challenge myself 😎
@@HASH562 ☝ 😎
is it me or no sound ???
your mom
Bruh instead of just saying factor it out show the whole damn process like this is so stressful when people don't from step 1 to step 2 completely justify your answer as you go I am sooo annoyed by this
Am I the only 12 year old learning this??? Also thank you for these videos it helped me a lot!
12 yo hear
hooray
is this good for a 7th grade ?
legomanx gaming i'm in 8th
legomanx gaming i'm in 8th
legomanx gaming I didn't learn this till 10th grade so probably not but it's always good to know early so it's easier in the future ^_^
shewolf500 thanks
Dude I'm in 8th grade and taking a high school course in AP, why tf are you learning this
This is so confusing. Why can't you just factor 2/2x-10 into 1/x-5?
You make math a trillion times harder my man’s.
iam 13 and i think this is to advance for my age ... do you think this is advance for 13 years old ?
ya bruh
Demosthenes Theofanopoulos well that kid is not me
you will do it sooner or later
I am also 13 taking a algebra 1 class. It's difficult but doable, so if I can do it you can too.
im 13 and this is our topic. grade 8
why don't I have any idea what is my teacher saying in class and I can understand everything you say?? bruh
So many steps 🤔
Kms
I'm lost.
Oh god, I'm so confused. Reading all these comments talking about how simple it is makes me feel even dumber! OH GOD!
im lost
You made no sense whatsoever
I don't know about you, I understood this fine. It helped a lot. If you can't understand it, you may be missing some fundamentals.
wut?
I think khan has no idea how to explain this
This helped, but I’m so tired of hearing your voice. I watched every algebra video on khan academy last summer so hearing you again gave me a headache.
