not everyone does rock music theres a trillion demos for rock music its nice to hear something on something else other than drums and guitars for a change.
What happens to the signal when they overload the plugin? Im always lowering everything so theres no overloading in my BX plugins because i assume its just clipping off the top of the sample. I used to overload my gear mixers all the time for distortion on some channels but don’t know if that works on analogue emulations. Anyone?
You can try each of our plugins for 14 days with full functionality to see and hear how they work for you and how they compare to existing plugins or hardware. Just download and install the plugin, then add it to your DAW to start your trial.
@@PluginAllianceTV lol. I already have two different subscriptions. I like the plugins. I just don’t know what happens to the sample/audio on overload. Guess ill have to overload and record onto a track. I just started playing with the Amek beta yesterday .i still have difficulty getting the compression working right but thats a me thing.
@@PluginAllianceTV could not add the reply to pinned message into AMEK 9099 giveaway related video - seems like UA-cam have a limit to replies. So I try to reach you out here. I am a guitarist and I am works with live environment. I have Teisco audio interface in form of guitar pedal and I want to work with AMEK 9099 to try kind of straight to the console 70s sound, but with modern flavor and vibe. Saturation, Notch filter, lows & highs shaping and overall tube sound should be very interesting in case of application to the guitar! I have several Brainwork plugins for guitar and it is awesome, but I do not have any professional console emulation plugins. So this is my dream project with AMEK 9099.
Really nice plugin console and great perspective for further development. Please fix : -Oversampling option for BX consoles (to help aliasing distortion on cymbals, overheads, trumpets and all high frequency instruments) -Decramp the high mid bell -Fix the UI frequency correspondance of the Glow and Sheen to make it consistent -Fix the 0.5 dB increase under the frequency point of the mono knob Please consider giving the users those adjustments. It would be a great product.
All analog modeled plugins “made by BX” apply oversampling internally whenever it is necessary, in a really clever way. They are typically not simply oversampling the whole plugin, as this would increase the CPU/DSP load unnecessarily in most cases. Especially on DSP systems, where a plugin always has to “reserve” the worst case DSP load this wouldn’t be great. The same would be true for plugins like these console emulations, which get used on dozens of channels in many mixes. CPU/DSP efficiency is key here. The way the system works is that they basically make sure that any crucial part of analog modeled circuits run with a sample rate of at least 176Khz internally. @@PluginAllianceTV Thank you to answer but really this is not enough to me. My points 2, 3 and 4 has nothing to do with DSP. It is all about UI detail (sheen and glow on/off center frequency correspondance) and design detail (decramp high mid bell & LF 0.5 dB boost under mono frequency knob) About the 1rst point on oversampling now. I am asking for a "HQ" mode or 2x oversampling (OS) mode. Lindell does it very well and let the user decide wether they want OS or not. Right now, there are a bench of users & reviewers asking for a OS option. I am one of them. I am fully aware of the CPU load. One of the best practice right now is probably going to be record & mix 48khz and then use OS in plugins internally when needed. If Lindell and many other brands (KUSH audio, Fabfilter, TDR labs, Klanguelm, Slate...), why can't BX give us the option ? Really I love the BX SSL J and this BX 9099 but I will not take them as my goto channelstrip without those update. Thats a shame because they are great product that could be killers with those options. Lastly, about the glow and sheen frequency shift. To me it really is a bad choice. Give us an option like what you did for the VU options. Everybody is happy now. It is just a remapping of the frequency correspondance internally. Not a big deal and user experience will be a lot better ! Of course it is only my opinion but I wish PA listen. Best regards, Clement
I really wish more acoustic and rock music was used to demo these plugs. Not everyone does hiphop.

It seems to always have to do with this pop boom click click click zip zap boing boing with auto tuned voices type of music. 😅
Trash song style that’s going around atm where every song is the same lmao

It would have been great if, for example, you had heard the lead vocals once without the "Autotune" effect !!!
Genial!!
