Newer home owner here. Was gifted kobalt 40v mower on move in. Shortly after bought this power head with trimmer. Since have added edger, pole saw, and tiller attachments. All seem well built and have been well used for 3 seaons with no issue. Want to get dethather and snw shovel nexr.
I just Bought a Weed Trimmer, Leaf blower combo, then I saw Kobalt had this and was like.. Damn it... I could have bought this and used this and its attachments... YARG... Oh and Thanks for the Video!
I'm fairly heavily invested in the Kobalt 24V line of power tools. I'm considering a 24V string trimmer to replace my 12-year old Husqvarna 2-stroke trimmer. How would you rate the vibration level of the Kobalt trimmer? The Husqvarna runs exceptionally well, but after 30 minutes or so of use it leaves my hands quite numb from the vibration. To be brutally honest, I wasn't impressed with the performance of the trimmer in your video, but it looks to me like the line was too short, and maybe you should have been on speed 2. The longer the line, the higher the tip speed. With that said, I'm still considering the Kobalt multi-head or the dedicated string trimmer. Thanks for the video!
I have a bad tendency to not bump the trimmer head often enough. As far as vibration, this can easily be shut off between usage locations and there is minimal motor vibration. if my four stroke troy built rates a six on a ten point scale I'd place this as a 3 by comparison.
Exactly the results I was hoping for. The kit should really come with an 8 ah battery for a few extra bucks instead of the 4 ah battery.

The handle always loosens, piece of shit handle. Tools though work great!
Is this the Kobalt Universal Connect Hedge Trimmer Attachment on the site for 120$? Will I need the power head for it too or is it all included

Just picked one up few weeks ago to use my attachments. Runs the tiller fine for me.
